That's pretty cool Cookie. I took an 18" pine round, covered the bottom with felt and mounted an RCBS LIL DANDY, Redding 10X and RCBS Uniflow equally around the outside, each on its own stand. With a 25 lb sack of shot in the middle it is very solid and stable and allows each measure to operate very consistently. And I can slide it around and rotate it into any position I want on an oak desk I use for a powder station. Thanks for posting on YT!
That's pretty much what I did except for the shot bag. I routered some areas on under side of the wood and filled them with molten lead before I put the felt on the bottom... very stable works great! Like you said... move it around on the bench as needed.
I got a pretty thick wooden Ikea cutting board and screwed my powder measure stand and RCBS bench prime to it. I can move the board around and clamp it wherever I want to my reloading bench, it works pretty well and is non permanent.
Hi, Dave - Been thinking about you, buddy...I'm still unloading stuff...but getting there a little at a time. Yes, let's meet at Tizzy's. Good to hear from you, Dave - How about next week or two sometime according to your schedule... Steve
@@FortuneCookie45LC If you still have my phone# give me a call, I have surgery on On Monday of next week, So, getting together will have to be in a while. anyway, Thanks for responding, I know moving equals a fire and you have things you need to do. I hope that everything is going good for you and the wife. Peace Brother - Dave
Have the same RCBS powder measure but I don't use a stand . I just set my tray with all my cases in it on the bench and hand hold the measure and dump the powder into each case mouth.
@bradleyswassey6778 - Yes, I was first going to drill the right diagonal dimension round hole and then hit it with a file...might have done that if one Lee hole was useable, but thought otherwise when it was obvious I'd have to drill two holes.... Best to ya, Steve
@lifted_above - Not just a Ryobi fan...I have multiple systems and battery platforms - If Ryobi gets my jobs done and is ready for more - that doesn't sound like trash to me...besides, I like versatility just like my reloading - all companies represented on my bench.... Best Regards, Steve
The only thing wrong with that stand is the lack of real mounting holes. I have mine mounted to a cheap board which I can clamp to a table when I need it. Love your design better.
@texpatriot8462 - The board and the C-clamp on the kitchen table - a jar of brass, one pound of powder, one box of 100 primers, and a box of bullets - trot out the die set and have at it...it's the way reloading was done for decades all across this land...and it still does the job for us... Good reloadin' to ya, Steve
Nice stand. Nice setup. Many years ago, I welded a couple scraps of angle to make a stand, then added a hinge and mounting plate. When I’m done with the loading block and there’s still powder in the measure, I can tip it backward and pour out that powder. But it’s ugly. You make me want to upgrade.😉
Good to see you back Steve.

@luvtahandload7692 - Kinda like a powder dispensing lazy susan..!! Sounds very workable... Good reloadin' to ya, Steve
Always nice to find a space saving way to improve the reloading bench. My bench definitely needs a spring cleaning
A few years ago I found this on sale for $11. I thought they were kidding but I bought one anyway. They are a tall mount. But what a deal.
@callawayken650 - Congrats on the Yoleven..!! Steve
With the right tools, we move mountains. Well done.
I've had my LEE plate for years. It is convenient. Thanks, FC.
Great to see you back in the cookie shack!!

Nice !
That's a great idea
Steve, we should meet up at Tizleys and have lunch some time now that you are up here. - Dave

@jeffkoch8678 - Kinda like using it Lil' Dandy style...hey, if it works for your, mom powah to ya, bro... Steve
FC45LC, Great Hack - Also, did you move - that does not look like your backyard?
@JBBooks4440 - Yes, have moved to WA state...much different up here in nearly all ways. Best to ya, Steve
7:15 this is how I reload too. Powder and primers are too high these days
I have both in a drawer never used. I will do this for my shotgun slug and 00 Buckshot powder drop.
I was hoping you was gonna show how to drill a square hole lol.
With a square hole mortising bit.
Hydraulic punch, pretty much.

Nice demonstration!
I see you're still a fan of the "trashy" Ryobi power tools. 😄 I'm kidding.

@@FortuneCookie45LC I agree. I was only recalling the sarcastic humor you gave us the other year.

Twenty bucks? Good buy
