I love elephants including the baby elephant, they are so adorable, sweet, beautiful, strong, loyal & mighty. 😊 I enjoy watching elephant documentaries. 🐘
The sad thing is; it's only the people that care about Elephants and animals in general, that will watch this excellently presented documentary. Not the companies and people that obliterate it all willingly in the name of money. Not a care for the World. EDIT: Nature is incredible on all sorts of amazing and magic like levels. Thought I should end my comment on a positive note. Take care you all and have a kind and caring 2022.
The commercial about protein to avoid for arthritis pain goes on forever and it doesn't have an option to skip ahead in the video and I want to see more about it but will never know due to him talking about something else he won't name 🤣
Baby elephants are just delightful. They bring so much joy to my heart just watching the little ones frolic and play and especially as they try to figure out what that long thing is that is attached to their face! They have such a strong family and it’s just beautiful.
I was like 14/15 years old when this african wildlife old documentary aired 6 years ago on Digi Animal World (Romania) and I feel so nostalgic after I rewatched. Good times to enjoy back then
Vulnerable as much as admirable: this is why, years ago, I adopted Zongoloni, who was rescued by Sheldrick Wildlife Trust; and following up on her growing from a hopeless orphan to a magnificent matriarch is a continuous blessing.
Yes. Sheldrick is one of the best org out there! And they grew so much! And they do so so much! I have a tiny virtual herd of for babies (2 girls and 2 boys). Here is hoping I will live long enough to see them go wild and join the wild herd....xoxoxo
We too have adopted a couple of baby elephants at Sheldrick’s, Kerrio, Salitea, and recently Nyambeni They live with Sheldrick’s staff in Kenya, we just send money to assist with their expenses. Sheldrick’s is amazing!
Another captivating informative live wilderness documentary featuring the majestic effervescent elephant, thanks for the view, much appreciated and enjoyed [Section 4711 Los Angeles, California]
The CUTEST babies when they are born are NOT human baby's, or lion baby's, they are new born Baby Elephants!!!.., Simply, THEY are ADORABLE!!!.., I could watch them all day long!.., These Magnificent animals, NEED, MUST survive at all costs!

any music credits ? good for sleep or prayer / meditation . I thought we humans had shortages . Then I see 2 dung beetles fighting over a piece of crap !
Wow! This is the 1st time ive ever seen the first herd at the water hole not just yield to the incoming herd. Usually the herd already there just leaves so the new herd can have the hole. Times are tite evidently lol they werent trying to yield to nobody!! Lol😲
it's very encouraging that so many people adore these videos - PLEASE CAN YOU TAKE A STEP FURTHER IN YOUR EDUCATION? elephants are endangered mostly due to MAN. please PROTECT THEM - EDUCATE YOURSELVES ON CIRCUSES, ANIMAL TOURISM, ANIMAL TRADE, HUNTING, ZOOS ETC. IF YOU LOVE THEM, PLEASE, THEY NEED OUR PROTECTION.
Humans rarely help their own kind..most of the times only if a camera is present otherwise no one cares..I agree with you but the sad truth is ppl do not care.
Please raise awareness and support the domesticated abused everyday asian elephants and make people aware of elephant pouching in africa. These beautiful creatures are slowly going towards extinction.
Thank you for uploading. Old style documentary with a good look into elephant life. When is this film from? According to the estimated elephant population, "less than a million", it could be around 1980. It was around one million in 1979.
PS: The true king of african savannah, behold the majestic african elephant that is the big boss who dominates everyone through size strength wisdome grace and above all intelligence.

This documentary actually has a lot of adult elephants, calves and teenagers ... Newer documentary's seem to only have one or two calves with mostly teenagers ..... heartbreaking ....
Do I have a question: What types of african wild animals do interact with elephants in their natural habitat due to their behaviour based on interactions with elephants on a good or bad ? Friends or enemies.
Any predatory animal (hyena, dogs, lions etc) will kill and eat baby Elephants given the chance. Positive relationships? Not sure how you’d define that exactly but perhaps there are small birds and bugs that they tolerate
I, for one, enjoyed this doc...even spent some time in Kenya studying these magnificent mammals back in 2001, regarding the Floppy Trunk Syndrome....maybe they could come up with a Viagra-type pill for this malady?? Lol.....
