Y'all should have some sort of 'bumper' between cases; even a 3-second "Case #1" card before the start of subsequent cases... they kind of run together otherwise, which makes it harder to follow.
With nearly all confidence lost in law enforcement across the globe, at least we can take some solace in the fact that they are doing something good. My heart goes out to the these families involved. It’s actually good work that could have easily been forgotten and not been followed up.
The first one sounds like a neglected investigation - they had names and they already had technology that would have been able to prove matching DNA, at least, so why they didn't do it to the people from the list?
Could anyone please explain to me why the guy in the Sherry Holtz case is being charged with second degree murder instead of first degree? I’m guessing that it’s about proving his intent etc. Thank you.
First degree involves premeditation, second degree doesn't also like you said has alot to do with proving intent. If they feel they have a better chance of getting a conviction of second degree they will go with that as the case has to be rock solid to get first degree conviction
That or they have to censor words, which leads to confusion. For example, when they are like, " they were convicted of ............ and sentenced to prison. " UA-cam needs to revise its guidelines. There's a kids version of UA-cam already let the adults listen to whatever they want to listen to.

Every time I watch cases like this, I feel both sorrow and anger. The criminal took away a priceless life, but at least justice was served.
I've been watching for years! Great job, like always!

You've just a answered your own question.

Fly high all beautiful Angels.
Upon conviction of the two 1st degree murders should result in a capital sentence, 85 year old perp notwithstanding!

It's seriously sad and pathetic.
