Interesting point on the "Ghost Engineers". Ultimately, employing engineers/anyway should be based on results/actions (not hours/screen time, that is from the Industrial revolution/factory work). If Person A is very efficient/smart and can get a task done in 2 days, why should they be "punished" with more random tasks (and no incentive). When Person B is "Slow" and thus has to take 1 week for the same task. Ultimately employees should be given clear goals/tasks and allowed to execute in the what time fits best (aslong as before a deadline). The "customer" of the Apple IPhone doesn't care how many hours one worked on the design/only the design. This issue never happens in "Sales" as its based on results and comission bonus is given.
This was such an interesting show! I enjoyed Coffeezilla's segment very much. Great choice! David Sacks is an excellent choice for A.I. and Crypto Czar. He'll do a wonderful job.
@@AlexWilhelmTWIST David Sacks understands crypto currency because he's been a part of it since the beginning. He understands A.I., computer systems, coding, financing, the market, has been a CEO and a boss. He knows what does and does not work when running a business. He'll bring fresh ideas and new ways of doing things to DC. I hope he helps protect the internet and the providers by supporting ideas that strengthen the ways they operate. Protecting freedom of expression will require clarifying what that means. What is and what is not protected speech? If they're going to pass legislation, definitions must be detailed and clearly stated.
Thanks for the analysis! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

I think employees who are making such high salaries with minimal work are the people who have gained massive experience that when required they'd be the top performers. Do you think the C suite work as much as engineers ? Should they be fired ?
The context for Elon's laugh emoji is not a mystery. He's laughing at Sam's public display of fear as he increases his influence over tech regulation. This is the definition of crony capitalism. I get your loyal friend Jason but you would not be pulling your punches if it was any other people involved.

yeah it's just not a simple situation, but I do expect large companies to try some ham-fisted approaches to measuring productivity
Dee Dee Doss - spot on, exactly the software dev industry I've worked in for the past 2 decades
Deedy Das, fwiw

I wonder if Sacks found out via that post 😂
What do you hope he pulls off during his tenure?

Isn’t it “Deedy Das” not “Dee Dee Doss”?

Blame the Chinese? Have u seen college campuses and the rhetoric from the AoCs and like in America?!?
Jason saying more monitoring is so dumb and tone deaf.
