REI: I LOVE my Pixie costume and I wanted to make fairy wings for so long, but it appeared to be one of the most complicated parts of the costume. I worked a lot and failed a few times before I created this method. It's rather time-consuming, but it also the cheapest way to create the wings. It'll be easier for you if you make the wings smaller. But I wanted to make the large ones (about 1 meter long).
The video consists of photos and video of the process and also my explanations. It's not the as big tutorial as I hoped it'll be because I wasn't sure in the result during the whole process. But I'm sure it'll help you or at least give you some useful ideas.

OMG! You did such a great job! Besides Storm and Psylocke, Pixie has become my 3rd fave X-MAN. The women in the X-Men are so exciting especially those with strange hair colors
Can we please have a voiceover added to this tutorial..? I fear we may be missing a loooot of tips and tricks to making this work by not having a more detailed description of how it was done. Thanks!

Hi, can you tell me somethung more about glue you used to glue fabric together? I know already that this is pattex transparent glue, but which one? It doesn't looks like contact glue or express glue... ;-;

They look like standard latex prosthetics. Not the new-ish plastic or vinyl ones you can buy on Amazon for 1$ but latex ears. They should be available at halloween stores or you can look for LARP stores online, they should also carry latex prosthetics, or even etsy if you fancy. It's CA second glue. It has different names in different countries, so in the subs I decided to mention that it's CA (Cyanoacrylate) glue ^^
what was used to glue all the wires together. is it a clay? i can tel it was sanded after with the drill but what is it?
