- This is a how-to video about removing a neck screw that has been broken off inside of the saxophone. In this video, the screw was not very stuck. If it was very stuck, there would be a different method of removing it.

Teacher, that video is necessary to solve that problem but I did not have that tool and I had to use a bit. It was very, very hard, as always good.
That notch in the neck screw is actually from the factory, i have that yamaha and it has the same marking

It is hard to say without seeing it, but what I would probably do is cut a slot in the top of the screw with a jeweler's saw and then screw it out with a small screwdriver. This technique will leave a small slot in the top of the rotor, so you will have to assess it to see if it is worth it to get it out.

Wow , just in time, However my high Eb and side Bb hinge rods are stuck and impossible to move.
Those can be difficult to remove. There are several ways to remove them depending on how stuck they are.
I hope to do some videos on removing stuck hinge rods within the next few months.
