If you’re not moving out anytime soon I would suggest getting your closet redone! It’s big but there’s so much wasted space! You can hang so much clothes if you remove that shelf
This is such a great suggestion! I completely agree.
You can also buy a short and long dresser and put it in front of your window! You can put so much clothes in there!

I really think you should remove the bars and shelves that are in there now and just do 2 long rods across the closet (one high and one lower) and then add a dresser under the window - it will be way better organizational wise! The current closet layout is a little tricky 😅

Just cleaned out my clothing closets and storage closets this week! And now I put up all my laundry as soon as it’s done drying! Motivation is temporary but it feels good when it’s here! 💗
I know it can drive you crazy bc that’s how I felt in NY bc I didn’t have a closet at all 😭 but just flip the perspective and think of everything as a privilege.. like instead of I have no space think “I have so many nice things” ya know? As crazy as it sounds it does work. I tend to think negatively a lot and I’ve been trying this
Sam... you just need to add some better shelving/racks in that closet and it will change your life, consider doing that, I feel like there is so much wasted space
You should get those small rolling carts for each side and put your small tops, workout stuff, and any other small clothing items and use the middle folding area for your sweats so you can roll them up since I feel like the clothes on the shelves don’t really use up the space well enough if that makes sense! Plus then you’d be able to roll them out if you’re looking for something on the racks:)
I for sure think you’d benefit from a closet redo! The set up isn’t all that space efficient also if you like to collect clothes I’d also recommend investing in higher quality clothes!

Get some clear bins & learn to do the KonMari Method & put the clothes in them. Really helps.🙂
If you removed the shelves at the ends and put two long ones across the closet one on top and one on the bottom you would have sooo much room to hang, and shelves you could fold and put clothes on top
Really liked this vlog, so inspiring, I needed this today. Totally relate to getting attached to clothes, collecting them, ending up with too much for the space and that situation descending into a mountain of chaos. I'm currently working on reducing my own clothing collection (aka the hoard!) and it's soooo hard

I really really have been watching organized videos this week. We a lot of organized my cosmetor that like I don't have the time when my family. Walk in my room it gets really messy none happened again. It's more messy so that I have to like clean it all app and take the long time and now I'm just like every time I look in. The cause I'm like ugg it's hard open. It is so watching you makes me wanna do it even more so I think I'm gonna do it and then get a work out of 4 a couple days.❤

Your closet needs a redo, this shelf in the centre is taking up alot of space and simultaneously wasting alot. If you just add two rods horizontally that will solve your problem
the layout of that closet isn't working for you, as others have mentioned two long poles top and bottom with maybe some baskets underneath would be great you need more hanging space. In England we have tiny closets so we have to learn to optimise the space we have, I think you could manage it quite easily :) well done on getting through the declutter!

Honestly that shelving unit in the center of your closet is taking up a lot of space. You could always get a small dresser to store pants, undergarments, tops, etc. Then with the extra space in the closet, add two long rods and hang the sweaters and hoodies. It’ll look better and be more organized.
I had made a closet and when I had to go out I would always look for what to wear, and when i found what i wanted to wear i would wear it and what i was looking through, like what i should wear i would just leave it on the floor and on the racks. it was really messy! lol

If you are able to, find a cute little affordable dresser that you can put in your room in a corner somewhere.. that way you can put the extra clothes that are stacked up in those drawers! Dressers are the best lol. And you can place other things on top of it too!

Switch out/stow away off-season items. That way you can see what you have without feeling overwhelmed.
I got 400 clothes roughly size 12-16 but still hard to get rid off size 12 (hadn’t worn them for 4 years)

Take the money you are paid by the companies who’s clothes were gifted to you and are still unworn to redo your wardrobe and make it functional, it’ll be worth the price
Your ordered closet looks very untidy to me. I don't want to be rude, but this whole construction will last a maximum of a week. Then it will fall apart again, and your wardrobe will be a mess again😢
if you’re donating your clothes to those donation bins, just know that most will likely end up in landfills
I am sentimental too I have a titanic shirt I grew out of it and mom said ''It does not fit'' and threw it out
