gun shields dont make units tougher anymore, they gain soft cover from small arms, which is actually much worse, because its useless against anything with pen value and also provides no benefit if youre already in cover
@Boltaction1944 movement rules state a advance order in reverse is half movement, it does not say the same for a running order, which is where the question comes up
Wait, how did the MMG destroy a Buffalo? They have a 7+ DV, and the MMG has no pen value. It could have been pinned up by the MMG, but not hurt. The +1 Pen 'Open-topped' modifier is only for things that hit the top armour of the vehicle. Edits: Some spelling and clarification of the 'Open-topped' rule.
thank you

@cobruh836 At the time I was thinking that was the actual rule, but didn't check.
Awesome game. What models did you use for the Amtracs?
@@GhostMaker00 I 3d printed those from wargaming3d
No its a reverse move which is 1/2 so reverse run is 9” and should still be there

@ so i read the rules and as written you cannot run in reverse only an advance is possible in reverse which is half of forward
At 35min. It looks like the heavy howitzer didn't have line of sight to the Marine squad

@patrickhill8494 The lvt amphibious troop transport is 6+ soft skin, in hindsight i should of went with the buffalo
@cogsonthetabletop4162 aaaaaah, that was my confusion. I play Brits, and our LVT-4 'Buffalo' is an armoured carrier. I thought they were identical!
BANZAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIII
No cover save vs indirect fire the sniper dies
