JT Martin, buses like this one on the 86 Narragansett/Ridgeland route drive insanely fast at approximately 40 MPH.

Try ride 6700, that one is probably the fastest from 6400 Group, Rode that one on the Lake Shore Dr. on the 146 Inner Drive (Rare Route for Novas), my driver was Hauling Ass floored up to about almost 60 mph after passed North Ave Exit. By the way, 6700 is still active. That one is even faster than most of rehabbed 1000s New Flyers and Pace NABIs lol.
Tell Me about it, As a South Sider, I miss them so much on King Dr, 79th, 87th, Cottage Grove along with Archer Garage old Routes 49, 53A, 62, 54B and 94
@@thetransitfanofchicago1718 They should've stayed where they started it from 77th and finished their lives there same that TMC 4400s did when they started from 77th and finished same garage.
Not to mention Brian Edmonson, these old Nova Buses are being retired gradually by the CTA.

They still got over 100 of them, probably won't go anywhere for another year or two. I heard some of remaining ones like 6700/6800 were rehabbed recently
CTA was last Agency in USA that operated Nova LFS 2nd Gens, and Indianapolis INDY GO was the last agency that operated Nova LFS 1st Gen. Man I miss Archer Garage when it was 100% 6400s Fleet. This one had some similar sound of TMC 4400 roaring sound, I miss those RTSes as well
1:19 "Please exit through the rear doors so everyone's commute is faster." *Not 30 seconds later:* **people exit through the front** It's getting harder and harder to tell if people are doing this out of spite or just astounding stupidity.
I'm not of huge fan of Novas, but he was FLOATIN ! They usually don’t takeoff fast like at 0:35.

This novabus is way cooler than the novabus lfs here in Toronto, Canada. The engine is way better too.
Man those ZFs sound good!!!
Although the 6400s are now retired, the 8350s resemble them very well in my opinion.
Especially the 6709-6883 group
SHIT THE SOUND OF THIS BUS WAS LIT
Sounded mixed with MAN Americana 4000 and TMC RTS 4400
