• Medium (linseed oil)

Lovely! It’s such a simple image that if I tried to paint it, it would turn out dull and boring, but from you it’s delicate and pretty and complete even without ever being anything other than what it is. And I’m going to watch this over and over trying to figure out how you pulled that off.
Is there any particular reason why you started with a few extra colours? You don’t seem to have actually used any colours that you couldn’t have mixed from your usual limited palette. Were you experimenting with different methods? Using up old paints? Or was it purely on a whim? Your colour work is fascinating.

What kind of paper do you paint on, and how do you prepare the paper before printing , do you put the gesso.. It is very difficult for me to finish my painting in one layer and I do not know where the problem is, please reply and if you have a video on your channel where there is a solution, please send it to me. Thank you so much! Yes, I learned to paint with oils on my own. I did have some charcoal/pencil drawing lessons at university (I studied architecture) that helped me as well I think. I'm still learning and improving my technique. Thank you for your support again :)
