As Muslims we do not believe that the bible is the actual preserved teachings of Jesus peace be upon him. There could be some verses that were spoken by him. The new testament is a collection of books mostly written by Paul. The gospels were written by unknown persons and possibly without any connection to Jesus pbuh. They were more like a biography, possibly like the Muslim hadiths, but without any record of the chains of transmission.
Muslims would accept some of the verses that are mentioned in the Quran, or those that convey accepted meaning. The Quran is the criterion, the lens which we use to judge the verses in the bible, both the Hebrew and Christian bible.
لَقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ يَـٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبَّكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍۢ ٧٢

Most of the times, we will have to read the previous verses as well as the next verses to get the context of the message, In Islamic studies, scholars have recorded the verses of the Quran, their meaning which were explain by the prophet vua hadiths, when they revealed and the situation at the time of revelation, why they were revealed and many other details. Then there are also tafsirs which are the explanation of the meaning of the verses. The meanings are more direct taken from the Arabic language but the tafsirs are deeper, and may take several verses together.
The "you" in the verse means the prophet himself. Taking the verses from ayah 90 to 100
Indeed, We settled the Children of Israel in a blessed land,1 and granted them good, lawful provisions. They did not differ until knowledge came to them.2 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment regarding their differences.90
We brought the Children of Israel across the sea. Then Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them unjustly and oppressively. But as Pharaoh was drowning, he cried out, “I believe that there is no god except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am ˹now˺ one of those who submit.” 91
˹He was told,˺ “Now ˹you believe˺? But you always disobeyed and were one of the corruptors. 92
Today We will preserve your corpse so that you may become an example1 for those who come after you. And surely most people are heedless of Our examples!” 93

and do not be one of those who deny Allah’s signs or you will be one of the losers. 95
Indeed, those against whom your Lord’s decree ˹of torment˺ is justified will not believe- 96
even if every sign were to come to them-until they see the painful punishment. 97
If only there had been a society which believed ˹before seeing the torment˺ and, therefore, benefited from its belief, like the people of Jonah.1 When they believed, We lifted from them the torment of disgrace in this world and allowed them enjoyment for a while. 98
Had your Lord so willed ˹O Prophet˺, all ˹people˺ on earth would have certainly believed, every single one of them! Would you then force people to become believers? 99
It is not for any soul to believe except by Allah’s leave, and He will bring His wrath upon those who are unmindful. 100
Here Allah asked the prophet if he is in doubt about the stories that are told in this Quran, the stories in the Jewish bible. If he is in doubt then ask the Jews, who will confirm them. Please note that the prophet is asked only to clarify the stories as told before the verse.
As Allah mentioned in verse 99, if he wanted to, he could have made every single one of mankind to become believers. But he does not do so. So the prophet cannot force anyone to become a believer. He could only deliver the message.
Man is created with free-will and provided with intellect/logic/fitrah. All babies are Muslims for they do not know what is right/wrong and are not responsible. After that man will be accountable for his beliefs and actions and he will be rewarded accordingly.

I had a revelation while watching this video. I always watch these and think to myself “wow it’s like every Muslim on earth rejects and then molds to their own opinion, doesn’t read, or doesn’t understand what they’re reading in the Quran” then it hit me… for Muslims to have a higher chance in salvation and going to paradise they must be more and more like the prophet.
