Man, what beautiful, stark scenery! Certainly makes you feel small by comparison, eh? The roads look fabulous, too. And when the sun goes down your day is done.
ive camped right there!!!!! damn i love Utah....might be time to move south closer to the border. Loved the music, ive used that song as well. I can see a marked improvement in your videos, keep up the great work. That climb you were going up is nuts...at the top, u can see the line of the road disappearing into the distance...i love utah. ADV ON!
It was an epic place to camp.. Thanks for saying I'm improving on the edits. I've been trying out some new stuff. Hope to ride with you down the trial one day... ADV On !!!
Your Videos are always fun to go back and watch. trying to get the kahonies to go south of the border like the "Z" Shark did. Did you purchase the Mexican insurance. Hope your doing great, thanks for the videos.
Your the best VW915.. thanks for continuing to watch videos. I did not purchase the travel insurance. As I was only in Mexico a few days. and figured I would gamble. But I would weigh all options and make a decision. I'd like to return there for a Baja trip at some point... ride on my friend.
Awesome vid man so strange I know that like it’s home now lol I camped about 1/4 mile from you I could see your camp spot across from where I camped lol not bad out of 20 miles of choices haha
Hi there, I plan on doing this in September. Could you possibly tell me the exact location of that campsite that you had just outside Mexican hat please?
Awesome.. so there is only one gas station in Mexican hat Arizona. And it is exactly 15 miles from that gas station Into Valley of the God's. Sorry I don't have a pin for you.. hope it helps. But rest assured. There is many epic spots to camp there.
@DRZADVENTURER Yes on BDR route. Going south to North. As soon as you cross into Arizona there is a Exxon station.. get gas and reset tripometer. 15 miles to a million dollar camp spot for free. Enjoy.
Great videos...would love to know why you changed from the KTM 690....I was thinking of getting one setup like you had. But now I'm concerned that you decided to go with a DR650 instead. Any insight you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Carl.. glad your like the Vids.. Long story short. I never loved the 690 when i made it an Adventure bike. With the Lynx fairing and rally raid tanks. It felt heavy in the front end. And had a few small mechanical things go bad. But the man reason.. is i solo travel mostly. And wanted a bullet proof bike. With a lot less stuff that could go wrong.. sensors.. fuel pumps etc..
I will make a video in the future really breaking it down.. but thats the meat of it.. have any other questions.. feel free to ask. Good luck with tour choice.
Thanks Z Shark for that valuable insight. I share your concerns as regards reliability... it's no joke stuck in the middle of nowhere with a bike that won't run. All the best, and stay safe.
Utah is a treasure for sure.
We are fortunate to live so close to another beautiful State.
Beautiful!

I think it would be hard to pick a bad camp spot in that place.. But i was very happy with my choice :)
@@ZSharkPH that was my first choice but out of 3 people in the whole valley including me that one was taken lol 😂
Damn time to go back maybe this week haha it would be cold cold 🥶
I'm sure you have camped in colder conditions...lol
@@ZSharkPH oddly enough in Arizona exactly a year ago lol
