Hey Pranay. I made a deal today where I paid 90k less than the listed on road price. No other dealer could match that price. Really appreciate the learnings from this video.
This video reminded me of the crazy vibe of hard core sales and shrewed negotiations from my brief sales experience in an MNC. Needless to state it's fun to watch this guy introducing us to such individuals...
Just negotiated a ~1.9L discount on a Venue Turbo MT, September '24 mfg, yet to reach the showroom. Quote started from 12.03 with all add-ons, finally buying for 10.16 on road Delhi. Plus free extended warranty upto the 5th year/1L kms and basic accessories wala kit
You have to be also cautious when doing such deals. You might end up having a lemon. From what I know from my sources, cars which have issues when they do the dealer PDI i.e. repainted panels, repaired bumpers or stock rejected by other due to some issues are sold at discounted prices. The manufacturer passes on the discount for damage in transit.
Hi Pranay ! Great content but one disappointed for your friend might be that, auto ancillaries costs have plummeted in this quarter and no matter how cheap your friend got the i20 its gonna sell cheaper in December by at least 4-5% because metal cost is coming down, knowing this because I do FP&A for a top automotive MNC. Still good to know people value money in 2024
Metal cost is coming down okay. will they be reduced car ex-showroom price? But these companies and dealers are already quoting at a high price, most of the people do not know this and are still thinking of cars selling at quite a high price.
Try this trick for Tata Curvv ICE Creative+S DCT or Mahindra 3XO AX5L TGDI AT. The salesman will kick you out for wasting their time. These tricks only work for dead stock or non selling segment like hatchback or sedan.

For Hycross, he’ll negotiate on the premium amount they’ll be charging for faster delivery not on Ex-showroom or any extra charges such as accessories, insurance or extended warranty
All of this works only when you buy a car and a variant that is not doing good in numbers. i20 CVT clearly falls in that category. Also, the parchi system may have worked there, but In Gujarat, Rajasthan and MP belt, these dealers work in unison. Forget parchi, once you quote that X dealer has given this this discount, all they'll tell you is F yourself 😂 They'll easily call out the bluff. And this is for nearly all mass market brands with Maruti being an exception, where the delta between the dealers can go max upto 15-20k.
But at least you can take inspiration from him and do it on your level and get a good deal, don't wander around the country for discounts, but atleast in your city, or within 25-30km you can look out and maybe get something good enough, he is in sales, so it can be hard for ys to use such tactics, but you can talk and negotiate the dealerships who are desperate to reach the quote and get lucky

Hi Pranay, great video! Would you please ask him how did he make them agree to have the insurance done from outside.
@@prasannajadhav641 You have to force them into it. Tell them you won't be buying from them if they don't let you take the insurance from outside. Accha video hai, par 1 Lakh ka discount Jul24 me waise hi mil raha tha Jahan stock tha. Timepass ke liye accha hai par bohot time lag gaya, iss choti se gaadi ke liye.
1.05 lac discount on 9.42 is almost 11% which is hefty IMO
No one is giving discount in hyundai easily. They add 30 k in insurance and then give discount of 20 k. Effectively you pay 10 k more, if analysis not done properly.
@@MrYogi123 buyers either desperate and want the most demanded varient of the most selling model or go to just one showroom who doing good numbers. Every dealer has his way of doing business. Just tell them your are serious but spending but not desperate. The i20 and altroz aren't as much in demand compared to suv design, hence smart approach would work. Creta you might not get any I agree.
Make one video on car leasing and see if that makes senses.
Good idea, will consider
How can one check the shipment status of a car? Do they give us any unique id number?
really liked the content of video great value but the environment for the speaker seemed not so comfortable as he was focusing on driving as well as giving answers please keep a stable environment for these conversations also loved the knowledge on speaker i resonated with him immediately will be exicted to hear more from him.
Bhai south mein like Hyderabad, banglore mein kaise discount le batao
Can i do this trick with Maruti brezza also ??? I'm from mumbai which dealers should i buy from ???
Ask your friend if he knows any sweet spots around Maharashtra.. in Mumbai/Pune region.. because getting a car from north is just outside our consideration
There's no chance you'd have any update or found a belt around Mumbai, right?
@flowmv no update
@@pratikindia27 okay, appreciate the response nevertheless!
They key to any negotiation is the willingness to walk away from it!
💯💯
is tata punch a good car in this segment?
Hi Pranay, great seeing your videos. Could you please do one video on how do you file income taxes, especially for the MF gains from foreign based MF's (eg. Edelweiss's Greater china MF or any with american stocks)
I have a CA. I share all the capital gain details with him from my trading portal and he computes the capital gains tax.
The inventory on cars at dealerships is at an all time high right now which is resulting in steep discounts being offered. There is no magic. It only takes a persistent man to crack the deal.
Dude, I brought an i20 sports optional manual with 4th year extended warranty from Delhi with 90k overall discount including insurance from outside...
he got a 1.05 lakh discount on Ex-Showroom, but can you also tell me how much he spent on going to different showrooms to do his jugalbandi negotiations?
Zero. Phone calls on my Jio plan are free.
I am also looking for a DCT Venue S(O). Isn't year end better option to negotiate rather than the monsoon season?
No harm trying now. They're going through unsold inventory so you might get a good deal now too
Can i find this DSA in and around bangalore city?

Hi pranay, need your suggestion
My father has a 2009 santro xing petrol car and we got it renewed this year for more 5yr (Maharashtra). I am tiered of getting it repaired and fix for all small big issues (manual window, dents, paint, etc).
Should I go for a brand new car? Or second hand car of 2-3 yrs old.
Our run is not too much but need some big looking suv car now.
Hard to answer this given so many variables like your budget, what second hand cars are you currently getting, etc
@@pranayk37 I am getting a offer for a skoda rapid 2019 ambition - petrol manual .

From psychological pov they dont care about discount
