I've never been this excited about an AI ATC addon for any simulator. lol. I hope it's coming soon!!!!
Doubt we’ll see it this year. Maybe toward the ass end of 2024 when MSFS 2024 comes out. Giving what im seeing in their discord server it’s a long process.
@@mr.futurestrader2115well they did have to completely restart from scratch. So that’s a misleading timeline, but I’d say they’re going to get it done this year

It looks really good!! I really want to practice my Radio work without having to use Vatsim as they do not cover the airfields I fly in and out of!! So it would be really nice once this does. Do you know if this will cover all airfields? For example, I remember an airfield in the UK called Dunkeswell, although it has a Radio IRL it doesn't have it in MSFS, it's just Exeter instead, so it's inaccurate. Thanks. @mr.futurestrader2115

Truly admirable effort, and some good humor along the way too. Kudos guys, really looking forward to it.
Ex 20yr ATC training & commercial pilots licence holder (retired).
Some technical runway incursions as aircraft crossed the holding points before clearance was given and probably vacated a couple of times before the clearance was even read back.
*Sometimes a controller will talk slow if they are stalling for time but want to get a clearance/instruction out.
Some 'line up behind' would be useful.
Needs ICAO 'caution vortex wake' for those departures (for UK timings for departures and distances (speed control for distances) for arrivals).
But guess what... SUPER AMAZING WORK!!!

Thanks for the feedback. As stated at the opener - we know allllll the problems. We just wanted to share our progress. Think of it as watching a painter finish their painting - they know the sky hasn't been painted yet. They just haven't had a chance to paint it :)
Former Flight Service Specialist from Canada and Private and Glider License holder here. I was going to state the same about the aircraft moving before the clearance. Small detail but brings a lot to immersion. And good to know the @beyondatc team knows about the issue.

Wow Captain, this is going to be absolutely amazing when it's all done, hell it already is now! Can't wait to see arriving and departing traffic working at the same time, that's when the backups really start to happen. Seems like arrival traffic spacing/sequencing will be the next great challenge especially during the push times at major hubs. Keep up the great work, we all appreciate it very much. This will be a game changer like no other.
Yes, it looks very promising. Can't wait to hear all the traffic of inbound flights being told to contact ground and all aircraft reaching the hold point to contact tower for departure.

It's a traffic injector, no need to go into every minute details I guess. The player will busy preparing for their own flight to notice these things
@@athr_blu Yeah, this is amazing work and I think it would be a mistake to get bogged down, with quickly diminishing returns in getting every detail correct, especially at this stage. (Though I’d note this is exactly the job a traffic injector is supposed to do; just a very low priority one.)
Well, speedbird and all.other traffic really did not pushback to the taxiway like they should have. They all.pushback to the first line, which would run them right into the tails of all other parked aircraft. I am sure they will get that worked out.
@@athr_blu yet they have "per engine start up sequence" which is a much lower priority detail to planes not colliding... your comment makes no sense at all.

I dont fly enough anymore to use BeyondATC but im going to buy it just to have it the few times i do fly and to support the awesome work you guys have put into this. It definitely feels like youre all trying to get this right and not just sell a product. Really excited for this one

Truly admirable! My only critic will be to at least give the option to slow down the whole process. I feel like sometimes they’re too fast. I mean for example the time to do the flight controls checks etc.
Agree, hoping there is an option to slow down the push and start sequence. There has never been an AI addon that does this process in a realistic way that simulates something close to the time it takes planes to complete these procedures.
Admirable work! It still needs a bit of fine tuning but you said that already, and anyway this video shows that you are at a very, VERY good point already. It almost seems to listen to a real ATC chatter 🙂

That is, just, wow. Love it! only one thing I got to say is some planes started moving before the calls but other then that the voices are so awsome and it sounds great! Cant wait to have that.
Yeah this is a known issue - the comm logic and the comm voices are two different systems. We just have to make one wait for the other, it's easy to do, just something I hadn't finished with yet. Thanks for the feedback!

You are to be commended for taking on what appears to me to be an impossible task, given the vagaries of Asobo updates, the myriad possibilities or pilot and ATC errors, the rapid changes occurring in tech and AI ... not to mention the carnivorous nature of some simmers who will be on you like wolves on an injured elk if some simple error creeps in. This is what every sim pilot has been waiting for, myself included! We all know this isn't the completely polished version. And the fact that it isn't and it's THIS good....I cant wait to see the released product!!! The only critique I have is that some of the voices sound.....aggresive? I don't know if that's the way to explain it. I know from experience at work that ATCs, and most pilots, generally sound a bit more calm than what I'm hearing from the sim. There's a lot of instruction that comes off as your Dad telling you to do something for the 3rd time. I don't know if I'm the only one hearing this or not. Honestly though, it's a nitpicky critique because everything else is just so mindblowing!! Excellent work guys!

Great stuff! It would be another great immersion to implement the proper wake turbulence spacings. Perfect for allowing AI to cross some arrivals after a Heavy or Super departs.
This is going to make you a lot of money. This is what we want.
Absolutely amazing. Thanks to the FSR3 frame generation mod for nVidia cards I'm finally able to use AI with great performance, but the AI communication and handling of the aircraft is really showing it's ugly parts with one female voice for all parties during a two hour flight without any variety and passenger planes flying on treetop level ... but this will change everything, amazing! And the performance will be even better too?! Love the natural hesitations and "uhms" and "ahs" and the regional accents. Makes it feel real to the max!
This is ground breaking!!!! Truly another great mile stone in flight simulation!!! I can't comprehend what it must take to get to this point in development!!! Will I have to invest in a new computer for this?????? I only hope that you will be able get rid of the "dreaded go around" syndrome!!! Please say you will give us GA traffic!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can do all of this you will deserve any amount of money you ask for!!!! Lol you will make $$MILLIONS$$!!!! Please sim genie take all my 401k!!!!!!!❤👍👍👍❤

Love the addon! One small suggestion for takeoffs: Tower should tell the departing aircraft to "Contact Departure" after they are clear of the airport.
Not always, depends on the location. Many airports have procedures that you switch to it without instruction.
They do. if you watch the older previews. This is more to showcase the traffic injection.

Very well done 👏🏾. It would be good to smoothen the transition of the planes lining up on the runway as there is sudden stop. The transition could be updated to a liquid slow down to a stop. I'm looking forward to this release 😊.
