They're are multiple trailers on this channel and it popped up at E3. The games been well advertised.

Agree. The advertisement for this outside of Japan has been minimal and unfocused. Three major trailers that have barely showed any gameplay features except for the school setting which might alienate quite a few fans. I am curious to see how this will do in the west

All of them obviously. A true FE fan will play the game at least 3x. One for each house.
And then even more times to explore ever possible reclassing and support option available
the real question isn't which house you'll play, it's which house you'll stumble through on your first run, then which house you'll use pro hard-mode strats on with the newly unlocked difficulty, and then which house you'll just get all of your students killed in because it'll be funny.

Compared to japan, we’ve barely gotten anything about this game from NoA through social media. Most of what we know from the game is from Famitsu articles and the Japanese character profiles.

This is gonna be the first Fire Emblem game i ‘m gonna play, it looks really good!
Whats special about this one is that in previous titles, all units had predetermined classes/weapons. In this it looks like you can actually make your army from scratch.
Healers using bows
Armor units fist fighting
Sword wielders with a battalion of archers escorting them
And that's just what I'v seen from trailers. No two players armies are gonna look the same.
It does look good; I'm fairly new to the series as well - played only Awakening and Fates. It may take a while to get used to the mechanics, but once you do it's very rewarding 😊.

Olimar103 Makkah had brilliant video which countered and showed how flawed his video was! Like me he understands the general Nintendo fan or new people entirely would find this hard to buy because lack of marketing.
Thank you for bringing this up as I would recommend people watch his video as he understands how marketing works people think because this is a franchise they love and have biased that it will do well but it doesn’t work like that you have to market and do it well for a game to do well. The game can be amazing but without marketing your game isn’t going to be found.

So that way everyone including the player will think that Hubert is the evil one and is the one making her do all the bad stuff but he is not the reason. Maybe the reason is her love for Claude maybe? If she has one
It's Edelgard, not Edelguard. Also, didn't you watch the E3 trailer? Edelgard fights this war because of her ideals, which seem to be in conflict with Dimitri's (she seems to fight for the church and to uphold the wheel, while Dimitri seeks to break it), not because she or Hubert or anyone else is evil.
How could anyone think Hubert is evil? He’s obviously a Fredrick who happens to play bass guitar in a punk band.

Three Houses will be my first time playing a Fire Emblem game at its release date. I started with Fates in 2017, and since then, Fire Emblem has become my favorite video game franchise. I can’t wait for 7/26!

For some reason that gave me an idea on how this game's characters might be implemented in smash, if they decide there are not enough FE characters on the roster already.
They could add Byleth and make him/her like the Pokémon trainer and make them throw crests (are crests even tangible?), which in turn make Edelgard, Dimitri, and upside-down Claude appear from them.
I bet someone had this idea already.

I LOVE these backstory promos! Really brilliant marketing move and super fun way to get players excited to build a community in the game.

They don't. Aside from Claude and Marianne (and maybe Lysithea) the characters in his house are really uninteresting and lame. The Black Eagles and Blue Lions are far more interesting.

I haven't been this excited about a game since (mind blank) but suffice it to say it's been a while. The FE franchise is the reason to own portable gaming device, but excited to see it on a big screen.

@@MrFrost009 Nope. Just no intrest in Mario/Luigi, and Zelda BOTW didn't appeal to me at all. I suppose you could say Bayonetta 2, but does that really count considering it was originally for Wiii U? ARMS and Smash, nope; and lastly Splatoon 2 and Xeno Chronicles 2, both were enjoyable but not something I'd consider a must buy/play.
I like my Nintendo IP like FE, Metroid, Project Zero / Fatal Frame, Earthbound/Mother, Kid Icarus, and Star Fox. Plus other 3rd party games often affiliated with Nintendo like SMT (one was announced around the systems debut, but we've heard nothing since), Rune Factory, and (previously) Monster Hunter.
For the past year or so the system only get's turned on thanks to 3rd party content that I might also want to enjoy when I'm out or on the toilet. Stuff like Stardew, Wargroove, Doom, and Thumper, are keeping the Switch alive and plugged in for me.
