Seeing Byleth manipulating time from outside of her perspective is terrifying, I love it.

@@chileanyways9075 Sothis gives Byleth power over the flow of time. We’ve seen her freeze time and rewind it, but always from the perspective of Byleth. In this, we see her seemingly teleporting around, when in reality she’s moving when time is frozen. Dio style. They’ve essentially turned a standard gameplay feature into a terrifyingly powerful and cool game ability.
It's weird when you think about it but makes perfect sense.
We saw Divine Pules turns time back and for the whole world, which means for everyone nothing changes beside Byleth who sometimes seems to predict the future. This is the catch however: this is Sothis's power, not Byleth's power. It stands to reason Sothis can turn time forward as well. In that case still nothing changes looking at it from the outside. It's just time moving faster.
Can Sothis do it for individuals? According to the trailer, duh, of course she can. We literally see Byleth zipping around. But Sothis and Byleth are one so it makes sense specifically for Byleth to do it. This is pretty much how Tracer from Overwatch can "teleport".
The real question is: can Sothis do it for literally anyone? Not only Byleth or everyone at once.
Seeing Byleth speak instead of being a silent protagonist is weird but also super cool

Rest in peace, Billy Kametz. You were a kind person, and you gave your heart and soul to your roles. You will always be remembered. Hearing Ferdie's voice is going to hit differently now, but at least a piece of you gets to stay behind

I agree! My favorite is Constance- however, I'm a bit confused about her new design. Her character bio in three houses literally says modesty is one of her favorite things, but now her new outfit is a bit revealing. Still, can't wait to play!

Because lets be honest, her normal personality when in the shade doesn't seem to be the kind for modesty (also, in Three Houses, her likes and dislikes are divided, with those for the normal personality been stated first, then those for her alternate one been in paranthesis, and I think some likes of her normal self are dislikes of the other and vice versa)

I jumped out my seat when I saw the Ashen Wolves. This is the best trailer yet. I love that it looks like there'll be more cutscenes. Seeing character that don't get a lot of spotlight in these cutscenes was amazing as well. Don't get me started on the fire soundtrack

The fact FByleth has more than 5 dialogues solidifies the possibility of her having a greater narrative importance. Can't wait to see how it goes.
You think she'd be the Lu Bu / Honda Tadakatsu of the game? You're just going on your merry way smacking foes and commanders alike, until you hear boss music. Then runs towards you and one-shots you in a blink of an eye.

I actually always thought Dimitri would be the Lu Bu to be honest. Specifically his post timeskip self.
If it weren't specifically Three Houses focused, I'd think the Lu Bu of this game would've been the Black Knight, since that's how he functions gameplay wise in Path of Radiance.
I'll admit though, seeing Byleth manipulate time through another person's lens is a pretty Lu Bu-ish sight.
Very much taking advantage of my absolute adoration for these characters to make me buy a game I wouldn’t have wanted if it had any other skin.

@@chifu4040 I played the demo for about an hour and honestly there’s a lot going on. Without getting into spoilers, the story deviates from the Three Houses canon VERY quickly(not counting the obvious deviation(s) that take place in the first chapter to set up the story)
When I thought they where leaving the Ashen Wolves for DLC, I was blessed with Nuvelle glory! Also, I knew Shez would obtain teleportation in a sort of space vs time sort of scenario.

I’m not ashamed to admit I screamed when the Ashen Wolves showed up they all look fantastic and I didn’t think they’d be base roster or have an actual role in the story. This was the most hype trailer by far and I can’t wait to play the demo later

This is such a perfect way to use the fact that Hapi can summon Monsters. Iirc this only happened once in the entirety of three houses, so it'll be great to see it more here
My hype for this game is unbelievable. Multiple paths just like in the original, Ashen Wolves are canon, every char is back from the original. This is gonna be the best Warriors game ever made. I just hope they dont paint the Byleths as the main villains. Because they are far from it

Yeah I agree. Personally, I’m getting strong red herring vibes from Byleth here. It feels as if they are setting Byleth up to be the villain in the trailers to misdirect us from a greater evil force that may be pulling the strings. I’m really eager to see how the story unfolds!

The only problem is that Edelgard dose actually want to conquer all of Fodlan as she belives she is the only one who can "fix" Fodlan and is to stubborn/Prideful to allow the other nations to run themselves.
So unless Edelgard changes on that they can't be a golden route.

What an amazing trailer! The music remix is incredible! So happy for see the Ashen Wolves in the game, and Seteth too! I wonder if this implies a playable Rhea/Seiros, or if she's just an NPC? And a demo on top of everything else is just a cherry on top!

You're not actually saying anything confirmed. Nothing about the characters in the trailer are all confirmed as playable. Unless you think Randolph and Fleche are now playable too, since they were in the trailer? NPC exist.
@@l.n.3372 i mean in the first warriors game, the npcs did end up as dlc. the only ones who werent playable were the evil mages (gharnef, validar and iago), the twins mother and darios. if we do get some sort of history mode to unlock characters (id assume trickster anna instead of awakening anna), then we prolly will get fleche and or randolph in some sort of caliber, history mode or dlc (unless they end up as enemies).
After playing the Demo I am even more hyped!
It really feels like you are playing FE Three Houses with the Warriors Battlesystem. Everything else is just like the original Fire Emblem Game!

You're gonna have a long wait then. mainline FE games aren't pumped out at regular intervals unlike Pokémon games which come out every 3 years.
@@_Just_Another_Guy Yeah, but usually by now we're aware that the next one is in the works. Most FE games come out roughly 2-3 years apart, but we've still heard no word about the next mainline one which is kind of a bummer.
I'm glad there's more FE content for folks that want it like FEW:3H, but I really hope the wait isn't gonna be that much longer, otherwise it'll be the longest hiatus between FE titles.

@@_Just_Another_Guy no, that’s not how it works. This is almost entirely Koei Tecmo’s work, just like Three Houses was. The last game the main FE team at IS made was Echoes, all the way back in 2017. I’d say it’ll be less than a year before the next turn based one is announced.

So excited for this game. I’m not usually a big fan of warriors games because I find the stories a bit lacking, but playing the demo and seeing these trailers has made me super hyped for the full release. Feels much more like Fire Emblem than I was expecting, I love it.

@@forjqoijasd I played it only on the handheld mode so I probably didn't noticed everithing, but the frame rate was solid most of the time with occasional frame drop during certain special animations like the "duo special attack".
I was sure i wanted to get this game but now i know i NEED it.

@@metroidjaeger8193 She's just like Edelgard and Dimitri. They're all grey characters who are traumatised by what happened to them. They're not evil, they just need someone who can make them stay on the right path.
@@jkarma3356 Not really, because she is a grey character, and portraying her as the devil would just be spitting on her character's background. In Crimson Flower, she felt very out of character, even though she was very entertaining.

Very much looking down to this and how the story is going to unfold with Byleth being an antagonist this time around. Honestly I'm just hoping we get more Jeralt
Judging from the demo and how characters that were prominent in Three Houses but never were actually playable before but became playable now (Monica and Rodrigue for example) - I think we will get a playable Jeralt - as long as he doesn't die, of course.
Well, to me it seemed like Shez was fighting against Jeralt in this specific trailer. And from the last trailer (I think that it was that one? Or was it the first? Anyway…) he was either badly wounded or worse; Sothis also spoke of some sort of revenge too. Perhaps because of all this, Byleth starts to have a personal vendetta at stake? Remember how vengeful they were and how their moniker as the Ashen Demon was an apt description when they literally hunted Kronya as she was running away in fright.

This trailer got me even more hyped! But I can’t help but ponder over a detail. Is it just me or is there more attention given to Ferdinand, Felix and Lorenz compared to other non-leader characters?
In the individual house trailers a cutscene was shown with these 3, cuing a music change. And in this trailer when the house members appeared, those 3 took up as much space as the house leaders on the screen.
I’m wondering if they’ll play a greater role in the plot. Especially since those 3 all have a sort of rivalry/beef with their respective house leader.
This trailer really sold me further for this game. As a man who loves my Bylad, I can't wait to hear him actually talk more in story. One thing I want to point out is one part about sending "them all" or "the world" to an early grave from sothis sounds kinda spliced, I'm holding out hope the Ashen Demon is just in your way but not fully malicious here. Speaking of Ashen my Ashen Wolves are looking amazing being not DLC!

This is all well and good that the entire 3 houses cast including the ashen wolves are available from the start. But honestly all i really care for is if Rhea/Seiros will be playable. She's my most wished for character to play as because to this day it still baffles me why she wasn't in the original game nor had more backstory revealed about her.
Rodrigue is playable, so there's hope.

Is Pokken considered a Pokemon game by virtue of having Pikachu in it while the rest of the game is focused around the combat?
Similarly, is this really an FE game because it has the characters from one of the games despite the lack of gameplay similarity between mainline FE games?
@@GreekDudeYiannis Literally yes to both of your examples. They might not be mainline games but they are still Zelda/Pokemon/Fire Emblem games.
I haven’t played the demo yet, but I think we’re gonna see another god like character in our new protagonist.

It's only on the second viewing that I realized that was Apex of the World.
Holy moly this is great! Byleth actually having more dialogue is amazing. The ashen wolves are base game (a bit disappointed Constance and Hapi are not in their respective mounts, but still) and this trailer seems to imply the church will be revealed as playable next. Good stuff, will try out the demo as soon as I can.

A really cool detail, when you customize the Ashen Demon, the default name is the name of Byleth during your previous playthrough of Three Houses
I would not have noticed that because I never change Byleth's name.

There are so many characters in this game, too. I wonder how and where the Ashen Wolves will fit in. Is there going to be a side quest or Church pathway where they’re some of the characters there, and then they join up with whatever of the three main paths you picked later? Otherwise it feels like they’re being shoehorned in as much as I love thrm

Really am hoping the Ashen Wolves are in the base game but also really pleading that Jeralt, Seiros, Seteth and Flayn are playable. They need to do Jeralt justice for once
