When I played DA: I for the first time I fell in love with Cullen. Then I romanced Solas: a guy that broke my heart. Yesterday I started a new game. And you know what? I think it’s incredible. I'm in love with a lion, but at the sight of Solas - despite how much he harmed my poor Inquisitor - I always smile. Why? Because I know that it doesn’t matter what he did. I won’t give my whole heart to the lion, since part of it still belongs to the wolf. Ugh, that’s not fair.

Oh Dear tell me about it. Origins had made a City elf woman and romanced Alistair and of course I never hardened his romance cuz who knows you had to do that. So he dumped me became king and Then I made my city elf the Commander for awakening. It was just as tragic as Solavellan but at least you could back out of the romance if you had wanted to.

The thing is with Dragon Age... I always picked the worst romances. Origins was alright, my elf mage romanced Alistair, and he stayed a Grey Warden so it ended up well. But then, in DA II. I ended up playing the Anders romance - it had many beautiful moments, I loved the bond between the two characters, but then the whole thing took a really dark turn. And then came Inquisition. Once again, an elf mage... and I chose the Solas romance. When we learned who Solas really is, I was like "you got to be kidding with me". My characters seem to always end up with the evil(ish) mages... But the video captured perfectly, why I still love this romance story despite it's ending. It is truly deep and sad, and I can't help but hope that there is a chance for his return, even if it seems impossible. The quote is beautiful.
Omg I can’t believe I barely saw this till now. I was afraid to romance solas because of the ending but this just made me not give a damn and give it a shot!! One last play through before school starts! 😂😅. This video is amazing, u never disappoint anyone with your works of art!!
