Today I went to the Marriott hotel in Burbank to go to the son of monsterpalooza Convention hundreds of people showed up Some were wearing incredible costumes many celebrities showed up to sign merchandise I got to meet Anthony Michael Hall from the famous movie the breakfast club he was super nice it was incredible to see all the horror merchandise costumes and DeCora and since I was in the valley already I decided to stop bye my favorite movie location from the movie back to the future I went to see Marty McFly’s house I had an incredible day - Розваги
Great video. These people in the booths should have a sign that says let us know if you’re filming for UA-cam or streaming so we can tell you about the products. Some of them just sit there and ignore you because they think you’re just some dude with an iPhone and they sure are missing a good opportunity to reach your audience

@@Tbss77 Oh I would say 99% of people don’t have an audience but that’s what I was suggesting, if I had a booth I would just want to know that someone has an audience so I could pitch them instead of sitting there

@jasminespencer the issue is that very few people actually come up and introduce themselves to the artist or vendor. I know this because my friend was a vendor here. He had a said sign at his table and most ignored it. They just want their shots for their blog and keep walking.
@@beerdragon4583 Yes I’m sure that’s true too. Or maybe they don’t want to disturb the person in the booth or they don’t think it’s important, but it is important even if it’s not a big blog or UA-cam channel

through the train. Going too fast to get more than a glimpse of history. I promised myself that I would never stand in a line like that again for anything. Amazing video.
Hey Mike. I'm not a fan of horror at all. But I have to say this is a great video. Just the fact that you got a free ticket made me smile and really proud of you. There's a lot of people like your videos, they like you because you are yourself you are positive and you are really an ambassador in a way for California, LA and Venice. That's so cool that people recognise you and are happy to see you.

No lie I always smile in my heart when a stranger in his video shouts out to him with love for him and his channel he truly is a great window into a crazy place in these United States and his positive attitude and commentary on how things are is just a true delight given all the negativity in this world
I mean there is plenty of vloggers in his part of the state yet this fella always comes off as the most honest/ genuine/ kindest one the bunch and it's that very reason why I keep the bell on and always look forward to another free trip to Cali via his videos he just makes my day that much brighter not to mention he's really talented with all his sound effects whistling beat boxing and dancing it seems every video he surprises me with a new talent of his. G.I.V the man and his fans are A-1

I must be psychic GIV because when I was cooking my porridge I suddenly thought I haven’t seen a new video appear in my UA-cam feed. And as soon as I started to eat, reloading my UA-cam feed, a new video was just uploaded by you. The timing was great!… I’m not a fan of horror to be honest, due to PTSD, although, I did like watching Hammer House of Horror TV Series in 1980, when I was growing up. These olde english films were not as scary as todays films, but they did capture a lot of suspense, and it was that that kept me glued to the tv screen back in those days. That said, I can appreciate how talented those artists are, sculpturing those masterpieces and showing them off at the convention. I liked particularly, the Lamp of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. It looks brill and offers the viewer escapism for one or two mins, while they look at it with awe. 16:51 sec… The ending of the video was great, reliving my teenage years when you showed the home of Marty McFly. It’s so sad Michael J Fox has Parkinson’s now, but he hasn’t let his disability get the better of him. 🙏🏻🍀✌️👍 :)

Luv Anthony Michael Hall in the 2000s TV series, "The Dead Zone". Was lucky to binge watch it on a channel called H&I. I didn't even know about it. I often ask people if they remember it, they say "no". So happy to see such an iconic & cool actor, as Anthony Michael Hall still active. Great Job GIV. You try to scare me with these, but I'm not scared! LOL..

Fun video! I used to go to the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors twice a year at the hotels by LAX. They would alternate between the Marriot and other hotels. But that was back in the nineties. I saw John Carpenter promoting In the Mouth of Madness and Jack Nicholson promoting Wolf. When Jack took the stage all the women in the auditorium rushed towards the front. It was a striking illustration of star power. But Jack was just Jack, cool as a cucumber. Horror is a fun genre. It doesn't get enough respect. But damn it's fun! And people who love horror are always fun to be around. They are in the Halloween spirit all year round.

Yeah ,, true on what you said Mike , the one in the L.A convention center was bigger , but not a lot of vendors , everything was spaced out too far , but I guess being the first year for that convention the organizers will learn something for the next year con. It was so dope seeing you again and taking a selfie.

I really appreciate the way you take before-and-current shots of locations used in movies or TV shows. I don't know if you've ever done a tour of the SF Valley house used for the Brady Bunch show. Even a non-fan would be impressed by the way the current owner (a cable TV company) re-created the studio's 1970's interiors inside the actual home originally filmed just for its facade. Life imitating art. Or visa versa. lol.

Suggestion: If you show the name of some of the artists at a show like this, we could find their web sites and maybe order some of the cool stuff you show us! I'm sure the artists would appreciate that, too. Win-win!

He shouldn't charge more than Nick Castle, who was $50 at that show.
I would advise him to go with $40 or less. Otherwise, his table will always be that lonely.
