Congratulations on the brand new trucks. The hard work has payed off, and to buy one for your dad must be the best feeling. I’ve got a 2012 Ram 5500 aluminum rims with the ranch hand bumper. I can’t imagine anything else on it love it. The crazy thing is I bought it a year ago with 50k mikes. I stole the thing. My favorite truck that I have owned so far.

I had to go 500miles away from my house to get my 2018 3500 Laramie back in Oct 2018 as 1) it was the only one I could find with the package I wanted and 2) it was $15k cheaper than local. I could have ordered one but I found what I wanted on a lot. Its actually the same as your '18 including color. I'm in New England.
The trucks are nice, I run a somewhat similar '21 5500 but with a service body. Just under 10k on it and it seems to be doing good. I've had it loaded close to 17-18k lbs. And it made no difference, the exhaust brake is a fantastic addition.

Ranch hand and the Westin hdx are both excellent heavy duty grille guards. Don't go with full bumpers, they just add weight and reduced gvwr. Great looking trucks, can't wait to see the flatbed build on your dad's.
Congrats on the new trucks Sam!! My only suggestion would be if you do decide to do any mods to do emissions friendly items like an intake, better intercooler and piping and manifold if you can find one that’ll work with that beast. Nice rigs though!!

we had a ranch hand like you had in the picture on our work truck, we pushed and towed stuff out hooked to it and it held good (better then we ever thought). We pushed a 20k pound cat forklift out of a deep bury up with it and it got scratched but didn't notice any bending
Nice trucks! In my Laramie build I had to have running boards, all cameras (even that 3rd brake light camera), painted front bumper, and the big screen infotainment. Just too easy getting a few extra options to pull that truck around to something nice to work in. These Rams are nice trucks and for the money might as well get all the options.

expensive, but the AEV bumpers are the nicest ones for the RAM trucks. they look factory and are very beefy. you can get the moth the upper headlight guard as well.

Definitely the cattle gaurd bumper over stock. Wouldnt completely replace as they look so nice and have so many sensors in them now.

Look at the Herd aluminum bumpers. They are Moose rated! And don't rust, being aluminum. They are a bit more cost. But they do look very nice!

We put over 100,000 on are 2019 with not 1 issue at all and its a tow truck so every day it runs its pulling something.
