Ses extraordinaires interprétations en espagnol notamment, avec l' émotion qu' il dégage, sa diction parfaite dans une langue qui n' est pas la sienne, (il est belge néerlandophone), lui ont valu plusieurs récompenses plus que méritées: un fabuleux artiste, trop peu connu..
Gosh, what a incredulous and fantastic voice our Helmut had. Wish he would go back to this sort of singing. I could listen to him all day every day. xx
@@yogajedi3337 When did you hear him last ? I Saw him live in 2018 and 2019 and he had no problem hitting High notes. Has his voice changed over the years? Sure... i Think it’s natural. Happens to most singers. And he has not recorded classical Music for the last 20 or 25 years. But i still Think he Can hit some pretty High and long notes. He did it in both concerts i went too just a few years ago.

@@larsbhm7671 Yes had. His voice darkened and lost the vibrance. And his notorious fantastic high C is gone. Time just takes a natural toll.
