Whenever I stop and really and truly realize that "I am alive, sitting here in this physical body" and I also think at the same time that I don't have to be here at all...but I am.... for some reason, it makes me emotional.
Absolutely, it's an extremely humbling realisation, especially when know that the odds against any of us ever being born in the first place are 440 trillion to 1, that's the very same odds as winning a lottery jackpot once an hour, every hour of every single day for 365 consecutive days running for 114 years, if that happened to someone somewhere few people would argue that it was a miraculous event, but few people stop thinking long enough to realise that at this moment in time there are currently 8 billion miraculous event living, breathing and walking around on this beautiful blue planet 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I think I get the stillness in me quite easily now days. But because there is a big tragedy going on perpetually with 2 of my 4 grown children, I can't seem to reach any form of happiness or joy. Which fools me into thinking that I'm not "doing it" right. But I have no trouble being still and letting his voice and words direct me and shut off my thinking. But I sure wish I could get some distance from the tragedy/chaos of 2 of my children's current lives.

When you're not thinking what is left of the tragedy? Maybe the remains of feelings and sensations? Hope everything gets better soon.

There is so much chaos and noise, at least in my immediate environment that I actually look forward to being alone and quiet and stillness when I meditate in the early morning, I do it in complete silence which is very difficult but I’m getting there lol if I’m out in nature a lot easier

Give me strength this New Year. Heavenly Father, I come to you today asking for your blessings as a single mom. I’m raising my children with strength and courage, despite the challenges I face with my sons being autistic. Lord as I struggle to pay my rent every month and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I ask that you bless me with your wisdom and guidance, as I navigate parenthood on my own heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men. ❤

We are the cheeseboard and our thoughts, opinions, ideas and beliefs are the chess pieces, rather than black or white thought, opinions, ideas, beliefs tend to be positive or negative, they move around within board but they are not part of the board itself. If a positive peirce defeats a negative piece the negative piece is soon replenished and replaced, and vice versa. It's an endless and ultimately unwinnable game, but we are not forced to play, we can instead allow the chess pieces to do thier own thing and play their game without our interest or attention, while we ourselves do our own things. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Eckhart, I am going to die soon. I'm not fit for this life. I got no one to depend on. I already spent all my time alone in my mind. Meditation doesn't help me, it just torments me more. I have no idea who I am who I am not. What I believe in and what I do not. I don't believe in anything or anyone. What do I do? death is nothing to fear right? I fear what's behind death. I've always felt confused about everything in life, like it's seperate from me. Like I don't belong her.
Tolle said somewhere that his book, The Power of Now, if he could add the word Awareness to the title because the Power is in our Awareness, our Awareness in this moment is key,
you have Awareness, or rather, U are the Awareness of Life,
if u can feel the sensations in, close around & thru your body, & let ur mind relax it's grip for a moment at a time,
that is like a dual dimmer switch, as awareness of sensation, inner-energy body increases, the focus on thinking simultaneously decreases.

Please don’t fear death …. Firstly it’s not at all a death only a transition … of the Soul .. if you are here in earth there is a reason …instead of meditation - try focus on your breathing …. Or look at a flower , a cloud … but try Be with be part of - not ! Mind think the flower or the breath
But find the beingness
Eckhart speaks a lot of this - maybe these steps can take you to inner peace … and possibly that’s what you are here for - to learn 🙏🦋🌅
If I'm left alone with my mind it constantly goes round in the same painful circles. Sharing your thoughts with a close friend or therapist can make a big difference to your perceptions. Perhaps ask your doctor to refer you to speak with someone. Definitely keep listening to Eckhart also. Hopefully the combination of the two will help you find some peace. Bless you. 🙏😘
