Well, I agree with you she might be bigtime "underrated" none the less she has sold literally millions of albums, so I guess she likes to keep very very low profile as celebrity. She seems to me very down to earth woman, who really likes to sing. She doesn't tour that much nor she is on the spot light so I guess that has something to do with not being "appreciated"

I first heard this song in the 6th grade, and I loved how meaningful the lyrics were. There was something underlining too about her vocal tone that I loved to write poems to. Rediscovering this song, now with a few personal stories that transition into her words make this song all the more deep and beautiful to me. It makes me really want to pick up poetry again.

This version..... Wow! The added 'screaming vocal' (build up starts at 4:13)...... and the way the band wonderfully transitions into it and how much they all seem to be enjoying it. Dido and her band are brilliant in the studio and live! Best of all, its great to see her looking and sounding great.

This song is just pure magic. I sing this tune during the hard times with my ex roommate who was exactly depicted in the lyrics. He was abusive because of his drug addiction and greed for money. It was hard standing my ground and defending myself whenever he had random outbursts and I helped him at times to get better but he was so unappreciative and ungrateful. Just a boy, not a man. I'm going to be 24 and he is gonna be 36.
