In Fusion, if you right click the preview window, you can select Save Image and it’ll export it from there. On the Cut and Edit pages, you can also go to File > Export > Current Frame As Still, assuming you’re on the frame in the timeline you want to export.
@@CameraTim If I do this in Fusion, it exports the image with transparency but without the outline. If I export it in the Edit page it has the outline but now the background is not transparent. Do you have a solution for this?
@@CameraTim Thanks for the quick answer. I did this from the MediaOut node and saved it as png. I tried many things but it would never save the outline. I have now followed this ua-cam.com/video/jaixKDUeYgQ/v-deo.html video. Now I am using a delta keyer and with this the problem is solved. I still don't understand why the outline wasn't saved with your solution - perhaps a bug in Fusion?
@@wirtschaftsinformatikHense That is very strange. I definitely wouldn't rule out the possibility of their being a bug, especially if you're on the 19 beta. If you want to send the node tree to me through my business gmail in the description, you can do that and I can take a quick look to see if I can find any oddities.
Haha! While I was recording, I knew it was going to be insanely long. I was wanting it to be less than 20 minutes. Obviously I did not make it below that threshold. There was just so much more to the process than I was expecting. I knew there was more I could share too, just had a hard time cutting it off.
@@CameraTim Also glad you kept the 48 minutes. Every minute is worth being here. First time for me seeing your videos. Learning Fusion and this is one of the best videos i've seen so far. You are really showing, by giving examples, how I can use tools better and with new functions. I am looking forward to more fusionvideos.
A true master of fusion
@@KnightCrown Haha! Definitely not a master of it, just know enough to be dangerous.
OH LET'S GOOOO!!!! I've dabbled in making my thumbnails in davinci so I can't wait to see how you are doing it!
Can't wait to see what you make with it!!
You're the man!
Thank you!! I’m just a man that wants to help people.
Thank you for the tutorial, it's gonna help me a lot ❤❤
Absolutely! Glad I can help!
Nice vid ... did not know about the grid trick.
Thank you! Yeah, I use the grid all the time. It’s so useful.
I have a question…. How do you export the thumbnail? I tried the method in colour grade and for some reason it doesn’t work for me
