That’s cause Vivz doesn’t care abt her female characters in Helluva. All the men in this series get the screen time and development and the women generally are just plot devices for the men
Striker is an eviler counterpart to Blitzo. Both are unusually tall imps who work as assassins. Both demonstrate feats of great physical prowess. Both are very good with guns. Both are significantly more dangerous than they seem at first glance (albeit due to his charisma in Striker's case, and his generally low intelligence and incompetent nature in Blitzo's case). Both work for Goetian royalty. Striker himself notes the similarities between them and cites them as part of his "We Can Rule Together" pitch towards Blitzo. However, while Blitzo cares for his friends and family, Striker doesn't appear to care for anyone.
Striker mentions how “some” have “everything they care about” taken away…at first I thought they were going to give him a backstory but after episode 6 came out I’m pretty sure he’s just going to be a joke
It's nice to actually see Striker fumble a bit. In his debut; he was presented as the "apex predator", natural talent...but here we get to see the cracks in his personality. His hatred of so-called "blue-bloods"...clearly egotistical (which is often a sign of insecurity)...and those moments of his irritation & annoyance when those around him don't take his veneer of seriousness...seriously.
he doesn’t hate blue blood because he’s insecure he hates them because they ruined his life. it’s heavily implied by what striker told stolas and also from viv on twitter that royals killed someone striker loved. and the reason he’s so “irritable” in western energy is because he’s alone with stolas, who’s part of a group of demons who ruined his life. he had every right to be angry and upset.
@@firefliesinthesky384 Oh? Looking forward to when they reveal Striker’s backstory, then. Though Stolas is actually a decent person; it’s unfortunate that he’s become the subject of Striker’s cruelty…when there’s probably a plethora of more-deserving nobles Striker could, ah…”strike” at.
@@MisterSmith00 to be completely honest, i feel like stolas would forgive striker. he’s a decent guy, with his own issues ofc that he needs to sort out, but i feel like if he actually knew what happened to striker he’d have sympathy. because if striker for example lost his family, that’s one of the most traumatic things anyone could ever go through. there’s been discourse a couple of times over on twitter where some people have been calling striker and hypocritical bigot/supremacist and others have been defending him, saying he ISN’T a supremacist nor a bigot and that his hatred stems from loss. vivziepop has been caught liking the tweets about him NOT being a bigot and him actually having a tragic past revolving around loss. so, take that however you like.
@@firefliesinthesky384 I DO like the character; and watching him slowly unravel a bit from his unexpected failures has been funny to watch. I look forward to a backstory episode where he gets a bit of redemption.

This episode feels like it should've been much more serious than it was. Stolas possibly dying should be nothing to laugh about. Striker should've been more of a threat and less of a laughing stock. Laughing stock fits Moxxie's dad better than Striker. The lair should've been a dark and terrible place, Stolas should've tried to defuse the tension with his sex jokes, Striker should've been unaffected, and the Hellhound subplot shouldn’t have ever existed.
Seeing him here and seeing the glitch x livestream where was instructing pomni on being an assassin is so different lmao ‘ITS JUST LIKE BLITZO, OH NO, TIME OUT’
What does it say that I still enjoy this flanderized Striker? He's not quite as interesting as his debut appearance; that version was pretty intimidating but had an air of respect and was not quite a cartoony Western style villain. Most unfortunate that Norman Reedus was a one off as him as well. But hey, the comedy with him is pretty funny, and he still can be effortlessly intimidating at times in this episode. And even if you think they "ruined" him, don't worry, he's back to form in Episode 6.

He was not a big fan of Taylor swift😂
I have that exact image as my wallpaper and laugh every time I see it 😂
The look on MY face when the music changed must've been PLATINUM then 🤣🤣🤣
Striker has less screen time than Stella yet he is still more investing and believable than Stella
He has less screen time than she does in the show? I feel like we’ve seen him more. But yeah he is a better villain than she is.

Yeah animation changed by time with budget, also as I know they use more than one person to animate it and smt they took new
The amount of *disgust* in strikers face when Moxxie said “harder” was so dang funny I almost choked on my own laughter-
He was like: "DUDE! WEIRD! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LET ME KILL YOU NORMALLY?"
I like the sound mixing on Striker. The alligator bellow and rattlesnake hisses make him so much more menacing.
Yeah it really adds to his character

Why Brock Baker is not voicing Stolas anymore?
No. It's originally voiced by Norman Reedus. But in this episode, it's voiced by Ed Bosco
