Retired radiologist here. PSA jumped up on last exam. Prior to conversing with urologist I I wanted to brush up on prostate anatomy. Short, concise video was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
Thank you very much for watching! Yes I have your suggestion noted. Once I finish up main videos in ultrasound, I will move to X-Rays. Definitely they will be posted in the future 😊
I would like to see it in exact scan as well. With a 29 hertz probe in the prostate using micro ultrasound. Showing the differences of Pirad, Primus and the Gleason score in comparison.

Dear Dr. Sam-- I had an "Abdominal Sono" in April 2021 from my urologist. The last sentence of the report says --"Prostrate is visualized and is normal and measures as specified above. Seminal Vesicles are seen and within normal limits." Did this Abdominal Soon --rule out the possibility of prostate cancer back in April 2021? I am scheduled for a MRI of my prostrate soon --as my recent PSA is 10. Of course I am very fearful. Just wondering if my prostate was OK in April 2021 --perhaps I would be free of prostrate today. My PSA in April 2021 was 6.7. I'm worried. I subscribed today and liked your video. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching! According to the report, the prostate seems normal and if it was not enlarged, it is less likely to be prostate cancer. However, for ruling out prostate cancer, a Transrectal Ultrasound is more accurate as it can detect small masses within the prostate. Your MRI will give you a complete diagnosis. Furthermore, a PSA level of 10ng/ml does not always link to prostate cancer. Each lab has its own specific range of normal PSA levels. Thanks and Best Wishes!

For bladder Tuberculosis, a CT Scan is better. Please consult with your Urologist regarding further imaging and other required tests. Thanks and Best Wishes!

Sir, is there any recognized weight based gradation of prostatomegaly? Waiting for your valuable answer, sir.

Please Dr , is there any significance to the prostatic cyst if it is a accidental finding in a younge adult ?
Cysts may cause bladder outlet obstruction, UTI and may even lead to infertility. They need furthur evaluation

Sir kya jo diagnosis trus se hoti hai wo sabhi prostate mri se pata chal sakta hai?
Yes, MRI can diagnose such pathologies. MRI gives much better detail than an ultrasound scan.

Sir can mri detect prostate calcification? Because Google says its hard to find because its so small
Yes MRI can detect calcifications of significant size. Although small calcifications are hard to identify, they can still be detected.
@@DrSamsImagingLibrary thank you sir kya prostate ya whole pelvic area ke liye normal mri hoti hai ya koyi specific mri?
You can ask the center for Prosate MRI and they will guide you accordingly.

My left ovary cyst with debris it is malignancy please tell sir
Ovarian cyst with debris is not malignant. It could be a hemorrhagic cyst.
What is the diagnosis of your ultrasound report?
diameteres and shape .not normal .it is hypertrophied .
Sir what is IPP 🤔
IPP stands for Intravesical Prostatic Protrusion. It is the protrusion of the enlarged prostate into the bladder
