There are two more ways to get to Lares and get the exp: 1. Strafe through the gate, you will trigger the dialouge with guards, but you can still keep going and once you are in just quit the dialoge and go to Lares. 2. Is a bit harder, there is a place on the wall, that u can actually traverse with jumping. If u just type: gothic 2 khorinis wall jump you will find the spot.
