We don’t need overworld sparkles, it’s more fun this way, imagine going over somewhere you hear a sparkle too late and the Shiny is already gone due to the Pokémon despawning, it was decent in Arceus since the Pokémon are always there, but in Scarlet and Violet, Pokémon despawn when you go to far away from them, plus it makes it to where you get way to many of them anyways since Shinies are meant to be a rare commodity a shiny sparkle sound in the overworld ruins the rarity as if Shinys was even rare on the Switch nowadays

@spicybeantofu No, it's definitely legit. I tested it out myself and managed to catch a shiny Golett, two Krokorok, and three Charmander with two sandwiches, and there were never 16 pokemon on screen unless there was a shiny.
@@spicybeantofuI've done this multiple times, I've noticed that static spawns won't count in the 15 spawn pool, so if there are 16 but no shiny then there might just be a static spawn
If I had to guess, shinies are probably outside of the normal “Pokémon Cap”, since them being so rare, they shouldn’t take away from the amount of regular versions that spawn. The cap is 15, so if there’s 16 Pokémon, that means not only did the entire cap fill up, but it went beyond, because there’s a shiny not taking it up. Point being, if you see 17 Pokémon, there’s probably 2 shinies there. I don’t know if this has ever been encountered before, or if it ever will be, but it’s entirely possible.
I wonder if you could, theoretically Have a shiny spawn, then have your Pokemon ko the other pokemon around to make new spawns appear, slowly getting multiple wild shinies on screen and potentially crashing the game at a certain point of too many shinies that don't take up spawn slots
@@GameGodZERO Theoretically possible, but only based on my theory of how it works. That’s a total of two theories to get there, which is a stretch, but technically not impossible. I could be absolutely wrong about how it works, and maybe it’s just a quirk in the games code rather than an unintentional side effect of an intentional rule. It’s also possible there’s a limit on how many wild shinies can be on screen at once, even just for the sake of “players shouldn’t get two shinies at once, they might not be able to catch one”, et cetera. Still, not impossible. You could crash your game off of shiny Pokémon
I had a double Shiny Milcery encounter, but I was a tiny bit more concerned with catching them both then counting spawns, so unfortunately I can't provide an answer.
@@katherinepurvin7802 Well, that is enough evidence to prove that there’s no cap on wild shinies. If they were going to put one, it would be on two, since anything else is just so absurdly unlikely to happen that it’s just entirely redundant. I appreciate your contribution to this discussion
It is likely, especially since shiny Pokemon behave differently to normal Pokemon. For example, Sudowoodo normally runs away comically quickly, but a shiny Sudowoodo is much slower. Another example is Dunsparce. Normally it digs when it sees you, but a shiny will just hop away. This is also how the easy Flutter Mane shiny thing works. Flutter Mane normally only spawns at night, like most ghost types. However, if a shiny Flutter Mane is trying to spawn, this is bypassed.
Knowing the code behind how shinies spawn helped me find my shiny deerling. There were 6 in the group instead of the regular 5 and I slowed to look at them because I thought that was odd. Turns out one was a shiny!

I recently Shiny Hunted Minior myself and I was lucky enough to find it on my first try and was really happy because it turned out to be blue core and blue is my favorite color. Also, I made a foolproof plan for hunting Minior so if you want to hunt Minior safely here's how. Get a Kingdra with Damp (Damp prevents Explosion and Kingdra is bulky so it can tank the Power Gem attacks plenty). With Damp you don't ever need to worry about exploding. Next, make your Kingdra Tera-Type Ghost. Minior also has Double-Edge so you let Minior give itself damage with Double-Edge and when you feel it's damaged enough you Tera Ghost so Double-Edge will fail. Lastly, Kingdra gets Thunder Wave so after Minior Shield breaks you can then Thunder Wave it so it'll be easier to catch. 👍
