I don't give bad course evaluations unless I feel they deserve it. I just gave a really nice proffessor a bad course evaluation because of her teaching. She wasn't great. She didn't teach (in my opinion) I feel kinda bad. I don't want to get her fired I just want them to improve their teaching and the course. I just really care about asl (dhat I'm taking) and I think it could be so much better.
I’ve only given 2 professors bad reviews. The 2 major things that I can’t stand are as follows. One acting like you don’t care about what your teaching or that is a chore to you. Two and the thing I absolutely hate the most is teachers who try and force their personal politics on the class such as Patty White. I have had a teacher take points off my paper because of my political views. We had to write a paper discussing if Obama care was a good or bad thing every student that said it was good no matter if there grammar was poor, they didn’t follow the rubric, didn’t properly format their paper, some didn’t even include a bibliography and still got A’s and B’s. My paper followed the rubric, was properly formatted, 10 pages only 5 required, and all sources listed correctly got an 89% but there were not comments on area’s I could improve unlike the other students paper. When I asked the professor what I could have done better she told me my opinion was wrong….. Are you fucking kidding me the other two students in the class who opposed Obama care on their papers had similar experiences. So we were given an assignment to pick a side and argue it but if we didn’t have the correct political opinion we lost points. Absolutely disgraceful behavior for a professor.
As an engineer I never had a humanities class that wasn't a joke. Get a few reviews about Matrix Methods, Differential Equations, Thermodynamics or Controls theory. I took econ, poli sci, and music as electives and none of it comes close to a 300 or 400 level engineering course. People that major in political science, or journalism etc really have no idea what real coursework can be.
@@Ryan-jc7qh I'm just saying.....none of this stuff is worth getting bent out of shape about. Things can always be worse..... If you want to complain about a poli sci class maybe college is not for you.
@@Ryan-jc7qh not necessarily.....I know tradesmen that make a pretty good living but it's hard work. We had two machinists, a boilermaker, plumber etc in my family. Actually trades are probably more secure than service sector jobs....or at least there are more to choose from. Unless you are in academia I would say you would make more money as a machinist than an English, History, or Literature major......you might make out okay if you were a really good writer.....
@@kehana2908 I know a guy that had a master's degree in civil engineering. He got bored with engineering and decided to go to law school. He breezed through law school. He said if you could read and halfway remember what you read then law school wasn't bad at all. I also have a friend that quit engineering and became a dentist..... My former dentist quit engineering school in the third year and became a dentist. I work for a few architects that quit engineering and became architects.
I love how the philosophy professor spent the whole video discussing one comment.
LOL
Professor Baumann's comments were especially hysterical.
+Becky Voorheis AMELIE IN BG. FORGET CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO. SWAT IS IT.
literally the philosopher stereotype lmao
Mr Baumann was quite the comedian! I just loved how he only mentioned that one comment and talked about “Epistemologists in hell”! 🤣🤣🤣
The philosophy instructor is amazing lol
the music makes it quite hard to hear a lot of the professors
rrshaban Tarboy soundtrack tho
This makes me really miss Professor Baumann!!!
Right?
Stop taking basket weaving 101 😂😂😂😂👌👌👌💀💀💀
Hell is certainly real. It's called the math and science department.
*literature
Yeah they didn't like my comments about engineering school either.....
Why call Heaven Hell? Are we finally coming to terms that they are one in the same?
This is amazing - Again with more professors!
“Maybe I’m kinda boring” the penny drops
Epistomologists would not enjoy the hell very much because of all the law, literature and religion professors.
Barry, I am sorry I didn't pay final respects to you! RIP
LOVE PETER BAUMANN!
Best profs EVER!
Baumann looks like Daxflame as an old man
the dr. sues comment has aged well

Embrace the Strangeness & Learn a Ton!
Is the first prof related to Mitch Schwartz from Tuesdays with Morrie? He teaches psych which is related to morrie so I connected those dots
I didn't go to swathmore I went to Neumann but this is funny!
same
"getting you ready for a 70 hour work week" ok Boomer listen here. It's not the 50s anymore. We actually have lives to live in the modern age.
im pretty sure the profs don't really care about the useless students
That English professor was hot
Was this video meant to turn of potential students??

I wonder if Baumann is really arrogant enough to think he knows whether there's a hell, or not, or if he was just being flippant.
He's just joking around.
