Ndavi is such a beautiful woman but something was missing yet again. She was adorned in the MOST beautiful gown on stage and yet still didn't demonstrate the level of confidence expected for final 16. Her pose in front of the judges, she just stands there with her hands in her pockets. No turn, doesn't give face. I don't know if it's the nerves but she was flat. Harnaaz was super emotional and I don’t blame her. Now she can go home and heal from the stress. Her dress was beautiful. I love black. And oh look… the winner wore black as well. How about that!

Any of these girls is Miss Universe in their own way so being said that Congrats to all of them. I strongly believe that Miss USA was the chosen winner long before finals night. She ticked ALL of the boxes they were looking for. Her advocacy centers around sustainable fashion and she uses it as a platform to teach women who are victims of human trafficking and abuse. Also…it’s also a way to do good by her regarding the RIGGING allegations at Miss USA.
I kinda tried to make my own top-9 on my instagram 2 days prior to the final show and Miss USA was not included! And now that she became the winner ... its a lot shocking! Her reaction was shocking too - no tears, no mouth opining, no covering the open mouth with a palm, nothing! How is that possible? Her answer was not better than Miss Venezuela's. Miss Venezuela said something like "I am a fashion designer by profession, but I am also a designer of dreams as a woman" - this was the most powerful statement of the evening! To my mind Venezuela deserved the crown more than USA. Venezuela also had a better evening gown from my perspective.

@@PungiFungi well we should not underestimate the intellectual skills I guess The girls in Top 16 didn't necessarily mess up in prelims rather they gave all what they had. But Canada Laos Spain was surprise for me.
New Orleans is the most unique city in the US. It’s a strange enchanting city. Obviously you want to stay away from the crap parts of the city but it’s a cool place.
After the top 5 announcement, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 was my definite winner😢 Suspect that the question section answer was a bit basic or generic for the judges’ expectations.
venezuela was in tears while waiting for the final announcement of the winner ..you can see tears ... on her cheek...for the top16 ..the org deliberately avoided the powerhouse countries like Phil/Thai/Viet/Indonesia/...they intended to streamline the top 5 winners later in the pageant
Miss Venezuela should had won the title of Miss Universe, she was the clear WINNER!! There's got to be some financial interest for this to had happened!!!!
Low energy lang talaga pambato natin. Yun ang common observation ng marami. Holding back is really not a good strategy. Kaya walang nangyari sa last tatlong pambato natin. Giving your best all the time should be the strategy. Ganun nanalo si Pia and Catriona
@@lucillealuning8772 Ang sinasabi ng iba, yung ginawa ng MUPH for Celeste is yung infamous na "know when to peak" strategy, which will work kung dark horse candidate ka, kagaya ni Beatrice. Pero hindi dark horse si Celeste; she was a frontrunner. Frontrunners like her should follow the Catriona strategy: prelims pa lang, slay na! Look at R'Bonney, Amanda, and the Top 5 candidates. I have more respect when a beauty pageant owns their beauty standards. This so called "next level" by Miss Anne, "transformative beauty" by the organization, or "sustainability" are smoke and mirrors to me. Unless they get rid of the scoring system for each candidates with swimsuit, gown, or interview. It is still a beauty pageant. It is annoying that they are pretending this pageant is more than what it is. It is about superficiality and/or wit.
@@terry-annfrancis1252 It’s not up to me or you but the judges. Without a doubt, the top 16 contestants were able to convey their purpose the best in interviews.
Somewhat the same sentiments about the gowns. Miss USA's gown gave her the edge. It was spectacular and the color along with the design worked for her. Venezuela might be the only person who could have pulled off that technic-colored-dream-coat that she wore. Unfortunately, South Africa left me dissatisfied - all that hair, all that material. A gown with that many elements doesn’t need a cape. The ribband in the small of Miss DR’s back was a bit distracting. After her final walk, she looked a bit piqued on that stage, and at the same time, larger than life. She is a striking woman and would make a great Cleopatra with that disdainful air. She also has an authoritative voice. I wish the three women good luck in the same space for the next year. Finally, inquiring minds would like to know why Harnaaz needed help on that one tiny step (in that cumbersome gown). You got the answer two seconds later. Thanks for sharing. Please give us your take on Miss France.
Curaçao really make a critical error in changing her entire look for the semis. Her preliminary gown was da bomb. During the semis she looked bland and ordinary with the boring glittery white gown so it was a bit surprising that she made top 5. When she started speaking…I knew it was over.
You trying it be this positive force just added to the stigma, Harnaaz has had to deal with the last one year. You didn't vibe, like seriously. Her gown had a cape with the face of the two former Miss Universes from India. You got to be seriously kidding, "not vibing". The so called promoter of inclusion. Huh
The happening in the miss universe competation was injustice for the philippine miss universe by the latenas judges, the latenas judges have made wrong decisions against philippine miss universe.
Fraude, fraude fraude!! Venezuela fue la ganadora!! En talento como ustedes vieron. Era la reina y ganó una que no se aproximada a nada. Ojalá las bellas y talentosas concursantes reaccionen y nunca más participen en ese fraude del mis universo
@@terry-annfrancis1252...use your brain and actually analyze the answers the contestants gave out. You'll see why USA won. She was the only one who truly addressed BOTH of her questions. And she did it calmly with eloquence and grace.
She was the only one who answered the question eloquently. Venezuela was a nervous wreck who barely made any sense and DR’s rehearsed babble did not answer the question. How could any of them have won?
Contestants are allowed to finish their sentence when the timer goes off, which is what USA did. Instead of nit-picking her time, focus on her vision and her answer and you will see that she was the only one who truly answered the question of how to help the organization be more progressive. Being progressive requires change. She did that by talking about being a transformational leader and planting the seeds of change in others and using that as a means("vehicle") to bring in actual change. She also gave some examples: environmental issues and helping women who have had to deal with human trafficking. DR was vague and said super generic things that any contestant could have been taught to regurgitate to judges. Venezuela actually said she was going to follow all the women before her. That's NOT change/being progressive T_T

@@PungiFungi well we should not underestimate the intellectual skills I guess
The girls in Top 16 didn't necessarily mess up in prelims rather they gave all what they had.
But Canada Laos Spain was surprise for me.
New Orleans is the most unique city in the US. It’s a strange enchanting city. Obviously you want to stay away from the crap parts of the city but it’s a cool place.
After the top 5 announcement, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 was my definite winner😢
Suspect that the question section answer was a bit basic or generic for the judges’ expectations.
But, let's try our luck on Miss World.
venezuela was in tears while waiting for the final announcement of the winner ..you can see tears ... on her cheek...for the top16 ..the org deliberately avoided the powerhouse countries like Phil/Thai/Viet/Indonesia/...they intended to streamline the top 5 winners later in the pageant
Miss Montana is ANGRY somewhere
I also thought the show was way too long too many fillers!! And 16 to 5 is not fun at all. Last yr in Israel was so much elegant and better imo
Miss Venezuela should had won the title of Miss Universe, she was the clear WINNER!! There's got to be some financial interest for this to had happened!!!!
13:38 "Top 16 is better than no placement."
As a Filipino, I cried. Our Miss Universe dark ages in the 2000s have returned, it seems. 😢
A 40yr cycle? From Diaz/Moran; to Wurtzbach/Gray to 2058 maybe?
Low energy lang talaga pambato natin. Yun ang common observation ng marami. Holding back is really not a good strategy. Kaya walang nangyari sa last tatlong pambato natin. Giving your best all the time should be the strategy. Ganun nanalo si Pia and Catriona
@@lucillealuning8772 korek. Mali yata ang strategy nila. Nag play safe. Ayan nilamon ng ibang kandidata
Rumampa sila sa prelims like it's their last time.
Also, kulang sa genuine and consistent advocacy si Celeste.
Miss universe 2022 is half Filipino and very fluent in our native language so proud of her.... however its also hurtful for the Philippines that celeste did not make it..

Philippines should've made the semi-finals. #wtf
How did Laos and Canada get in and not Philippines and Thailand ?!?
That’s a good legit question. Definitely rigged the show
That close interview has a very big points. The communication skills really matter.
They actually have a platform and advocacy they live everyday. I still don’t know what Celeste’s is.
@@v_g_v_ Jamaica had beauty, brains, and a advocacy and still didn’t place.
@@terry-annfrancis1252 It’s not up to me or you but the judges. Without a doubt, the top 16 contestants were able to convey their purpose the best in interviews.
The pageant was a bit disorganized and unprofessional. It gave off a Miss High School vibe😏
Isn't USA's dress dark blue?
It's black with some blue stones.
The high heels she wore were too high.
She is not use to high high heels.
R"bonney's gown is dark blue not black.... Open your eyes!
Pretty sure it's a black dress with dark blue crystals.
Rina now starting to love black gown too!😁😅
just as a question. Why didn't flours make the last parade of her as queen with her crown?
You trying it be this positive force just added to the stigma, Harnaaz has had to deal with the last one year. You didn't vibe, like seriously. Her gown had a cape with the face of the two former Miss Universes from India. You got to be seriously kidding, "not vibing". The so called promoter of inclusion. Huh
Where is Ms. Montana now? Lol.
I am refreshing her TikTok by thr MINUTE 😭😂
The happening in the miss universe competation was injustice for the philippine miss universe by the latenas judges, the latenas judges have made wrong decisions against philippine miss universe.
More interested to know why Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and over hyped Philippines didn't make the cut ?
Overhyped or underhyped deserving is deserving

Fraude, fraude fraude!! Venezuela fue la ganadora!! En talento como ustedes vieron. Era la reina y ganó una que no se aproximada a nada. Ojalá las bellas y talentosas concursantes reaccionen y nunca más participen en ese fraude del mis universo
I would much rather Venezuela win as well. Rigged show
@@terry-annfrancis1252...use your brain and actually analyze the answers the contestants gave out. You'll see why USA won. She was the only one who truly addressed BOTH of her questions. And she did it calmly with eloquence and grace.
La estado unidense no daba la talla
India’s body omg 😍😍😍😍😍
She didn't believe it cause she did time violation. How could she win like that?
That doesn't count in as long as ur answer is fluid and good
She was the only one who answered the question eloquently. Venezuela was a nervous wreck who barely made any sense and DR’s rehearsed babble did not answer the question. How could any of them have won?
@@Verity888 agree!
The pageant was a complete joke. How does Thailand, Vietnam, Jamaica, Mexico, and Philippines and many others not make the cut? Seriously considering stop watching Miss Universe altogether. Completely rigged
You know why??? Miss Universe is looking not just beauty. Celeste's performance in the prelims was so weak! Plus she doesn't have that accomplishments yet like the ladies in the top 16 does, they really are transformational women and leaders and it is proven already in their communities through actions, the walk the talk of their advocacies.
The communication skills, performance, advocacies, community involvements, and vision really matters. These are the big factors of being a transformational leader. These are the qualities that Miss Universe is looking for as an ambassador to their org.
But we are thankful for Celeste for her hardwork and dedication. We are proud of you Celeste no matter what.😍
For R'Bonney, the moment she answered the top 5 Q & A, then I said... "this is it! She will easily snatch the crown! That sincerity in her answer, she wasn't there to play, she is very serious in her goal. Her life story and what she did and still doing for the communities, amazing!
Congratulations RBonney! As a Filipino-Canadian here in Toronto, and the Pinoy communities here in Canada, We are so proud of you. A very well-deserved win. 😍

RIGGED SHOW! I Feel like RD and Venezuela gave an better answer. USA answer was good but not in the due given time. Ofcourse they had to let USA win on home soil. We cannot deny that Venezuela and RD overshadowed her on stage on the final night! And the reason they did not let thailand or Ph qualify is becaise they know how people root for those 2 country on stage as well
The show was completely rigged. Many of the front runners didn’t even make the cut. Miss USA was picked from the start to win. So none of the other contestants could stand a chance.
i think USA did pretty well she was consistent and many had her in their emotional fav but was afraid because of the scandal but she proved herself out there and DR and VN was good too but VN didnt really ans her q in the top 5 after the qna it was either DR or USA!No hate
@@uaena4151...thank you for being objective. So tired of all those screaming "rigged!" without any actual evidence. There's so much bullying, jealousy, and toxicity in the world of pageantry. Kind of disgusting. I only watch these pageants once in a blue moon precisely because it's such a nasty business most of the time.
