@sheilan6959 it was said that she was really celebrated as a beauty goddess in Nigeria and she thought she had everything to win.. That's a self-belief I wish to aspire too

Nigerian queens have both beauty and personality but they deserve a better training for MU.I remember reading that Edna Park was celebrated like a goddess in Nigeria and had high expectations of winning MU.That's why she had an emotional breakdown.

This was a very thorough research you did on this video. I must commend your dedication, but a little thing you missed out is that Nigeria placed at Miss World 2002 and 2004.
Yes I wanted to say this. It was disgusting seeing a pageant let the girls do skin bleaching advertisements or whatever that was. The organization should be an empowerment for ladies and for others but it’s the opposite. Like I don’t even have words to describe what I saw
@@Victormashishi-t7t was gonna say this. Almost all the miss nigerian miss earth are almost fair colored but its obvious that theyre bleached.they are beautiful regardless of skin color
Because everyone focused on facial beauty & walk before, but it has started to change even in Nigeria with all the pageants. Nigeria’s previous Miss Supra, for instance, was very sharp, did well in the debate round over SA’s Bryoni Govender.
@RinaHendriks wow! You're a paegent nerd and I love it... I am sure if you've done it before. Please, analyse Catriona Gray's performances at miss universe
Im not sure if I will believe everything that you said here when you said that Nigeria didnt place in both Miss Universe and Miss world from 2002-2004. Actually , Nigeria was finalist in Miss World 2002 ( they partially hosted it too) and the ONLY African in Miss World 2004 to make it in semis since that year all the semifinalists were chosen thru votes ( and fast track events). Anita saved Africa from being zero that year in Miss World.
I hope it's wasn't polically driven and the other ladies had a fare shot. I wonder if the organisers are going to allow Chidimma to take parti n the competition since she wasn't part of the normal process and request the first Pricess, just wondering.
Africa should have far more Miss Universe winners. But the problem with African countries is three fold. 1. Not checking what qualities are guaranteed a placement at least at Miss Universe. South Africa always places because they always think Miss Universe when they are looking for a winner. 2. Not really being that invested in the international competitions but still sending a representative. What's the point? 3. Just like Europe, They refuse to go with what Miss Universe is lokking for. They just choose who they like.. Part of the reson Miss SA stopped doing well at Miss Universe and relinquished the license was because they made a decision one way or the other,. Same way Miss Americagoes to iss World and Miss USA goes to Miss Universe, Two natinal competions that look for different qualities.
So let threaten Miss Universe to give Nigeria Miss Universe crown. That is what this lady is telling us. Where are all the boys to say this out loud to the organisers? Go Nigeria! Hehehe... Thank you, ma'am.
She was in the Top 10. And between Kebalepile and Kirsten the public was supposed to vote for who got into the Top 10. Chidimma would have been on that Miss SA stage had she not withdrawn - hence she was in the Top 10.

Good research. This is your first good video that has no bile against Chidinma. Lol. But your conclusion that Nigeria is not decorated enough at Miss Universe isn’t correct. All those awards you mentioned are enough for one country. Nigeria isn’t the only country in the world. She won Miss World, which I think is more prestigious than Miss Universe. That last line from you sounded like an attempt to shade Nigeria and you don’t need it. Almost destroyed your beautiful content. Just remove bile from your analysis and you will have a great channel. Let me help you with this information: Ben and Guy are two different people. Ben Murray-Bruce is the elder brother of Guy Murray-Bruce. Ben owns the Silverbird Group. Guy Murray-Bruce is the younger one, who controls the pageantry of Silverbird. You used the photo of Ben instead of that of Guy and you kept calling the two names together as one person: “Guy Ben Murray-Bruce”. Wrong!
You’re misunderstanding her way of delivery. She has nothing against Chichi. She may sound shady at times, but she does that on other clips - it’s not that deep, definitely not hatred, not personal . She tries hard to do a proper research. She might have gotten the wrong picture of the organiser but that doesn’t invalidate the great lengths she went into to find the stories of each queen! All die hard fans & bloggers of pageantry love all the beauty queens, her included. You’ll see, if Chichi goes to MU or MS & fans feel she deserves a placing, Rina & all of us in SA & the world will voice that out. We do that all over the world when we feel somebody has been robbed. Not every SAn (or Namibian (Rina)) is represented by the bile you read on Twitter. Most people had never even watched a Miss Universe but they were commenting out of hate & xenophobia & those social platforms are toxic, to say the least.
