Re-open ??? Why would they re-open to the public, when they are paid full whack by the Home Office, every single room booked and paid for -- at whatever price they want to charge! Don't forget Serco taking their cut and providing all the food
There were families from "Afghanistan" staying there until they got removed 18 months ago. Then the hotel had the decorators in and new mattresses delivered. Haven't been round that area since. It's depressing.
I live a block away from it… and I remember seeing a few skips in the parking bays with lots and lots and LOTS of mattresses, towels, bedding, pillows etc a long time ago. Naively I thought they were refurbishing for a “normal” hotel because it used to be a hotel always full of tourists and coaches, etc. this is on my way to the beach and I have to say I don’t feel safe around that area anymore… this and chine hotel.
Anyway to investigate these government contracts? How much are the owners getting per room? Is it max rate, the mean rate or some kind of blanket charging? They must be loving life right now.
I live near here. It was used as a migrant hotel for a couple of years...until very recently. Mainly families interestingly. Washing hanging outside windows, kids playing in the car park. I wonder what happened to them? Weirdly before the migrants moved in the hotel was completely refurbished and looked lovely, including the pool area. Looks like a sht hole now sadly.
It certainly was a migrants hotel. My family and I were staying at the Travel Lodge a couple of years ago and parked on the road outside. There was loads of bikes, and some children's toys in the car park. From the windows, it looked to be more families than some of the others which seemingly only have males. But there was never anyone in the restaurant or lounge. There were security guards on the doors and when I tried to approach to see if there was space to stay, I was quite abruptly told they were "closed to the public". Trip advisor seems to state they are now back open, but the reviews were awful and they have changed their name from Bay Majestic to Park inn by Radison. It looks like the Bay Majestic following Cov-19, took the migrants contract to boost figures before flogging it to someone else to do up.
I think that bad reviews will have put people off, and will try and find the reviews. It would not surprise me to find damp in the rooms as the roof is in a bad state.
I’ll be trying it with all of these hotels during stage 2 of my investigations, however the Home Office denied me one stating the safety of migrants supersedes the public’s need to know…
Please see commentary on other videos, but I’m trying to show people there’s nothing to worry about. Perhaps I should stop mentioning them as it seems to making it worse!
@Laudits There is one video which shows the doors open at the back, and we can see what is inside... I keep trying to tell you, but it seems that out Sensor friend wishes to stop us viewing their own YT videos ?
So where did they go to, and why? I refuse to use any hotel that has housed criminals. I shall, rather, go to smaller bed and breakfasts. Like how subtle the uploader was in this, and others should do the same. Roofs a mess, and it is probable that it is leaking, and maybe have been reported, hence the criminals moved. Just viewed the comments left by visitors and more spelt out how bad it was, against the few that strangely said differently
I see no comments on the tunes yet. Ill start. I feel it started average. Not what i was expecting. But definitley grew on me. All in all i give it a bunch of stars :)
These hotels have to be taught a lesson and hope the public boycott them when they re-open to the public also a blacklist on social media please

Thanks for the info! Where were they moved to?
@Laudits
At a guess, I'd say social housing.
@@jackjonesy9232 🤦🏼♂️ That’s the next part of the investigation. Thank you.
@Laudits

Why is there so much security in these hotels is something going on that we don't know
Are you that thick or brain dead?

It’s on the agenda. This is the 1st stage of my investigation project.
@ awesome, look forward to it!
Boycott these greedy hotels

Thanks for the confirmation.
Its roof area appears to have water ingress
Is this an illegal on reception ??
He had a good command of English, so I would say no. Prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt.
@ thanks for clarifying
He's illegal wearing that rollneck
Everyone working at youtube hq must wear turtleneck jumpers 🤭🤔🤫

Doesn't look very busy considering it's the Christmas season ? I wonder why ?

On Google Earth, there is scaffolding up and they seem to be repairing the outside of the building.
Yeah I saw that too.
Wont be staying there
*Where are the previous government guests now?*
Someone suggested social housing or they could be in one of the other hotels I’ve investigated.
😂Tremendous. Well handled ❤

Shame about the files (it’s frustrating af!!) but looked like a nice chat with reception which is good to see 👌🏻
Guess it’s time to upgrade my kit. It’s survived almost 3 years & we have important videos to shoot VERY soon 😏😎

Does it make a difference to request a freedom of information to Radisson?
