Thank you! it was a totally random, get up, I have a plan... lets go kinda day lol I am glad you enjoyed. Stay tuned its new content season, we have some big plans for this summer, next level stuff!
The Island holds so much of a special part of my memories growing up. From back in the sixties being cut off by the Sproat Lake fire, camping on Long Beach before it was a National Park. Trekking around in Strathcona Park, learning to snowboard on Mt. Washington picking wild blueberries on Forbidden Plateau, Hanging out with the trees in Cathedral Park. any so many more. Thanks so much for showing all these beautiful hidden treasures. Speaking of treasure did you find gold ; ) ATB
Its a beautiful place!!! we didn't ended up taking a sample as the area is an claim but at the end of the day nothing is being done on the property just someone holding a title most likely to have a gate key
Awesome stuff! Really are endless adventures on the island, lived here all 31 years of my life and still finding new places to be amazed by, especially the caves!
Did you go into the mine cave at Solomon's Basin? nice to see the snow pack, last time I was there it was bare, old timers told me they used to ski in there. There is the old campsite where the Chinese miners lived, be nice to explore that. Imperial Eagle is near there.
There is a spot half way there that had a hotel, and houses, all gone but remnants of things still can be found, I think the hotel was there in the 70's still.I know a fella you maybe can connect with to find places and he knows history. Dont forget to find grassy mountain some day too.
It 100% is, I had grown up knowing it as KSB, and when asked... I reviewed maps over candle light late into the night. I was super confused as the goat path we followed was labeled 'King Soloman' in a crappy old version of the BRMB early edition. I will make this right next time we visit Golden Eagle Basin... I pride myself on knowing maps and local geography but I am human and make mistakes.. On a side note I have heard your name in local circles :)
Very cool! The waterfall and moss, the look was so awesome! Pretty cool mine no sign of bears in there. Too think of the people the dug that mine !! Hard job, not all made it home. Im sure high chance people died in there. Thank for the great video 😊
I may have made this video in respect of those brave men that lost their lives within these mines indirectly. I have a lot of respect for the lost names and their families
@@IslandUncharted totally how I thought you would forsure! Not everyone sees a bottle and goes wonder who held it last! Just like pick marks on the wall, everyone someone put it there. Who where they and what was their life about! Any clue what yr the mine started and what were they minning? Gold im guessing in that are. Thanks again looking forward to more 🙂
Another killer video to two.

No! but someone told me, I kind of had an idea about it but we were too beat to explore anymore and look for it!

I have heard the tales of this!!!! tell me more next time I run into you
This is definitely Golden Eagle basin. King Solomon Basin is to the right.

Such a beautiful place. That forest in the clouds was magical. Be careful in those mines boys😁
My mom got mad at me haha
Is China Creek a gated, weekend only, access road? Definitely want to go check out that mineral creek area now!
Its gated unfortunately typically no access
That is the Golden Eagle Basin not King Solomon Basin
yes, you are correct
