My daughter and I watched together. I'm trying to get her interested into letting me do her hair nicer, not just a ponytail. Let's just say she loved it and we are watching some more to see what style she would like. ☺ THANK YOU ❣
I’m doing the exact same thing lol!! When she sees other little girls with braids and bows it definitely helps my cause hahah. I’ve been doing simple braids every night before bed to get her used to having her hair tugged on and then I show her a pic of the braid when I’m done, that has also helped a lot.
I take elastics out by using the very edge of a nail clipper to cut the elastic. Works well and you won’t cut the hair! Or even risk burning with the iron if your little girl can’t stand still like mine! Thanks for the hair tutorial. We are doing it today!
Her hairstyle looks amazing. She had pull through braids going back into a braided ponytail. The gold bow was at the top, the pearl was at the bottom. I love the hairstyle. Maybe I should do that.
thank you so much. used this today for world book day. My little sister is dressing up as Elsa and i never done a braid before. i was partly successful, ii managed it to tie it together but its a little messy
I do use detangler but I don't use it to soak my daughter's hair down. I just use it to help with... tangles. So I just wondered, if you need her hair to be wet to make it more manageable... Why not water? I'm just making sure I'm not missing something.
I’m gonna assume since it’s so fine , a few sprays goes a long way on her so why use water and detangler when she also needs the detangler for knots. I use to do that with my daughter at that age but now she’s a little older and her hair is longer and thicker that I need water and detangler
I am a cosmetologist. I use detangler on my daughters fine hair when I’m braiding or doing anything like that because it tends to tangle while I’m working with it so detangler not only wets it but it keeps it wet longer and makes it much easier to work with while also giving it more workability. It’s the same idea as using products in your hair while styling it. We always use some sort of cream or spray when doing braids and stuff like that. It also takes fly always and with baby fine hair- those are everywhere!
Tried this for the first time today. It looks so cute. I'm not as good as you are but even with my beginner skillset I was able to do it and it looked good! Love your videos step by step. You made it easy to replicate. Thanks! I hope to see some more!
another easy way to get rid of the little elastics is to use a seam ripper that you can get from the sewing section, and you can use finger nail clippers.
I honestly feel like this was more for the mother then the child and why are your using a curling iron to melt off the elastics they have little tools to help with that and it’s way safer
Is anyone else concerned with pulling fine hair (or any toddler hair) this much? Especially when it’s most fragile, wet. And then leaving it in for a Few days?? It’s screaming breakage to me but is that just me? Genuine questions.
Disliking this video purely because of how passive aggressive you where towards your daughter when you said you needed her to “shut that cute like mouth of hers”. If that’s what you feel comfortable saying about her on UA-cam, I’d hate to hear what you say to her behind closed doors.
Cheers, as a bald guy trying to do my 3 year old daughter's hair, the ideas are really helpful, as it is a bit out of my wheel house.
Haha good luck!!

Such a great daddy
@@katherineklevenow1808 I try, I had a good example though. My father was a single dad for a while, until he remarried.
😂 cute
Thank you THANK YOU for saying you have trouble getting your girl to cooperate! Made me feel better and less alone in it!

I do this too!
Wet the hair, they just slide out without the risk of either burning the hair or accidently cutting the hair with clippers!(:
Her hairstyle looks amazing.

My wife just did this to our daughter’s hair. Looked just like this. Great job!
Next time my kids tel me I’m to ruff on their head..going to show them this video, I’m going to try this style does look really nice on her.
I use the little letter openers that have the little blade in there and that works so good to get ahold of just one piece of the elastic and cut it
Haha only a mom would say “don’t eat it” love 💗 everything about this. 👏
I did it on my granddaughter and I do it on my hair when I cook and prep food. !! It's the best
that little girl is just so precious😊
The little girl I nanny for loves when I do her hair, can’t wait to try this out on her🎀💗
I love this style and can’t wait to try it! But please try a seam ripper to take the bands out! Super easy and no chance of getting burnt
That's a great idea!!!
AMAZING idea Ashley! I have been attempting to very carefully cut, but I have seam rippers stashed all over the house because I hate tags!
Amazing idea girl
The removal technique... AMAZING...LOVE IT!
Just tried this on my girl and turned out great.
She has fine hair so worked amazing
Thank you for sharing this
To get hair bands out, you can also take tea tree oil and just rub a little on the airband and they pop off real simple.
We've been using a seam ripper to remove the elastics. I don't own a curling iron, and my twins would be too crazy to use heat.
Lovedddddd this video!!! Do you have any more???
Thank you for sharing. I love the super love vibe !!!
thank you so much. used this today for world book day. My little sister is dressing up as Elsa and i never done a braid before. i was partly successful, ii managed it to tie it together but its a little messy
I did this on my daughter and I absolutely love it! I called it her dinosaur scales
Tiny bit of peppermint essential oil snaps the rubber bands almost as soon as it touches it

@@kristenadorno that makes so much sense! I think I will start doing this now, haha

Oh yay! So glad it was easy to replicate!
You can also spray the hair with leave in conditioner and the rubber bands will slide right out
Quick question: How does she sleep with it in? And is it bad for her/her hair if I let my twins sleep with it in? Gorgeous hairstyle!! X
She sleeps comfortable! I don’t do anything special. She doesn’t wake up with it looking perfect but it’s cute enough to last a 2nd day 👍🏻

Love it!
Mustache scissors work great to take out the little hair ties also
Super cute! I think you should have a small pair of scissors to snip the elastics to prevent burning. 🤗
C Diaz love that idea too 😘
Thank you so much it help me a lot! And the tip will be very helpful!!! ❤️
Can’t wait to try this on my daughter’s hair but her hair is still a little short
Beautiful ❤️
Loved this!!! Is was so easy, please make more videos like this!! You are very helpful throughout the whole video’!!
I am in the works or making another one which will be posted in the next week or two. Thanks so much!!!
Love it
Not me doing this to my 2 year old brother 🤣
I LOVE Kenra
Is it okay to tie wet hair?
Cute!
Seriously though, such a CUTE little girl plus amazing hair. Easy x
I honestly feel like this was more for the mother then the child and why are your using a curling iron to melt off the elastics they have little tools to help with that and it’s way safer
You are giving me real Karen vibes.
Lemon oil breaks the ties instantly!
❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Oh Gracie 😂
All hair is fine hair
This video was done way too fast. It was showed one time how to do it to one section and then just said repeat.
I am left with two pony tails at the end? What did I do wrong
Amy Calderon bring those ponies together and tie it off! You can make the rest into a bun or a fishtail braid or just leave it and add a bow!

Any other dads here
It looks cute. But It looks too tight for the hair.
I ii i it will
I think it's too tight for her
Ya kookkll
