For a show aimed at young children, these stories were pretty dark, even scary. But that made the show so appealing: It didn't talk down to children.

I just love Space Patrol, we used to reanact it into my teens when the robots take over the controls for long journeys in space, great puppetry, we loved these episodes when we were kids.
