The CX-90 is a little larger than the CX-9 it (indirectly) replaces. After Mazda buyers abandoned entry level trims, the resulting “premiumisation” raised prices, and according to Mazda, standards.

Is the product any better?
I loved the CX-9. It was properly posh with a hint of ye olde worlde charm, had all the latest gadgets, and felt calm and serene to drive. It’s one failing was the geriatric 6-speed automatic that made it thirstier than it needed to be.

Ok, everyone has an opinion, but as my late, great, dad used to say, “opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one.”
Mazda brought it its CX-90, indirectly replacing the older CX-9. It looks so similar that you wonder why they bothered, however since Mazda did bother, the boys and I put together a top ten best and worst.
