I get the feeling that people do not appreciate that this collection represents probably the most significant half century of human evolution, inasmuch as this was mankind extending physical powers (use of tools) to the point whereby heavy loads could be moved effortlessly by anyone. In my opinion, the only more significant development was the word processor in 1980, which evolved into the personal computer and opened the door to the internet, which in turn exposed all knowledge to anybody and everybody. I don't suppose this notion occurred to Bill but I hope the community catches on and ensures this can be appreciated by hundreds of generations to come. Here's to Bill. Being 81, one of those vehicles might even have been driven by me. LOL.

Which vehicle was that Tony. I’m 66 and I learned on a Bedford L8. NZPO linesman days.

9:46 What is an OE for most of the viewers that are not from New Zealand?
Overseas Experience (OE) is a New Zealand term for an extended overseas working period or holiday. Sometimes referred to as "The big OE" in reference to the extended duration of the travel - typically at least one year, and often extended far longer.
    Either way, great episode!

What's rarely mentioned but was told to us by the restorer who showed us around 5 or 6 years ago, is that you could fit a battery to 99% of the vehicles there and they would start and drive!
