My late wife was 5'1" and I was 6'4"... I was always joking that her bad cooking was from not being able to see over the stove... I taught two of her sisters how to cook better than the home ec teacher at the time when I was dating them (as they were closer to my age)... The day my wife turned 18...she went all in on me... Something in those kisses made me know that she was meant for me... I don't think anyone could have pried us apart with a crowbar...😹😹😹

Bealls looks very much like a chain store we have in the UK, called TK Maxx - right down to the red trolleys and signage - and it appears to sell very similar merchandise, too; some of of which is high quality and quite cheap for what it is. They tend to have an assortment of fairly random products instead of regularly ordered stock, however! Another chain store that went bust a couple of years back was Beals, which was pronounced like BEELS, but I've not seen it with two L's before, so BeAll's could be right enough, I guess!

When I started my training as a Junior Soldier back in Jan 75, most of the married quarters on the camp were temporary ones, basically single story wooden cabins made of, possibly chipboard & painted green with black felt roofs, the walls inside were so thin you could hear everything from your neighbours, I was lucky, the only time I spent in them was when I was baby sitting, a great escape from a 10 man room to relax, watch a bit of telly, unless of course they had theirs louder & we’re watching another channel or the kids were being rowdy. Happy days 👍

At least you'll have enough fuel for log fires! If you get cold put some bricks round the edge of a log fire. Take them out when they heat up and wrap them in an old towel. Instant hot water bottles for all of you!
try planting an orchard 6-10 fruit and nut trees will make a difference, it will help reduce waterlogging, by drinking water and breaking down through the clay, which will then help water flow through it. put them in low points in the ground and i expect you have had this sugested.

Will you have a small wood stove in the house? Just thinking for those bad winters where the fuel tanker can't deliver. Even a small/tiny wood stove can pack out a lot of heat. Added bonus you can always put a pan on top for cooking/keeping the coffee/tea hot.
Most houses in the uk 🇬🇧 are built from brick n mortar so getting a home delivered as an absolute rarity and it blows my mind what u have gone through. Good luck and I hope all he best for u.

Not every day but my jack russels regularly throw their meat off out the bowl onto the floor then eat off the floor making a mess on the floor. My parents also own a cattery (for people on vacation) & some of the cats also do that.

It’s a very good question. When we had 19 caravans turn up overnight in our little dead end side street in leafy Surrey (!!) the owners tethered them down as protection against any high winds, and we certainly weren’t on a hill or under threat of tornadoes.

@@cadifan every house Bukit after 1965 is brick or concrete. Building codes don’t allow timber houses any longer due to the fire risk. .
