It's touristy and overpricedand crowded in a theatre hall, where, if a fire broke out, we'd all bekilled. But, the costumes and the samba music and the roar ofthe crowd somehow make it 'authentic.'Been twice, which proves I'm no cultural expert.Last time in Paris I almost went to the Moulin Rouge.An acquaintance advised against it, saying it was dull and repetitious.I was put off by the crowds waiting to buy tickets. Maybe next time.....
