Unfortunately, I've wasted a great deal of my life with a lying cheater. They tend to hate conflict, confrontation, and drama. Yet, their very behavior is what causes those unwanted reactions! Very frustrating. They will also turn everything around on you. If you catch them in a lie or inappropriate situation, and try to talk to them about it, they will blow it back on you. Your only choices: leave or end up apologizing every time.
My advice: Leave and never look back. ✌

Can be a narcissist. They lie and cheat then if you confront a narcissist they shoot it right back at you without it even registering in the brain. They'll deflect, blameshift & refocus the conversation to something completely different, by the end of the conversation / argument you'll find yourself arguing about something completely different than what you brought up, what you brought up will be forgotten and you'll be wondering how that happened...

@@Iucebowel Eric, I misread your question and thought you wanted to know how to find out the truth if someone was a narcissist. The answer to your question is to re-assert the topic of conversation and keep the focus on that topic if the person you are talking to tries to change the topic. You have to have a heightened awareness because people who tend to change the topic of conversation are pretty elusive and sneaky and they can do it without you realizing. So you have to be able to catch when that happens and point out that that person is changing the topic/ re-framing the conversation to something other than what you are saying then ask your same question again and ask the person to please answer it.

I've learned that they can tell you you're the love of their life and still lie throughout the relationship. Even if they admit they're lying (when caught) and promise they'll stop. They won't. Worst part is you only know about the lies you found out. And that they make you believe they love you endlessly, so you don't know what to do. In the end you start asking yourself if they might be lying to themselves into thinking they love you ... Because their promised change never comes. And love is so strong, it shall conquer all. Maybe it's their nature.

People who cheat and most certainly those who have cheated more than once on one or more partners never love you completely. There love with just about anyone that comes in there lives is conditional love. "I love you as long as you make me feel special in front of others and I'm receiving more than I'm giving in this relationship." I lived with a woman and she always made the motions that we should both be trusting of each other. She said that she knew that I was trustworthy and I needed to believe the same in her. She had "male friends" and I was OK with her having friends that were male; I'm a secure man. There were some strange things that happened, that made me suspicious so I left an automatic voice recorder in her car, When I listened to it, SURPRISE. She and her friend made strange porn sounds. It was over and I never told her how I found out what was going on. I went to a restaurant after the breakup that she went to sometimes with her work friends and found out that it was well known by her coworkers "how easy she was". She and I lived together for 6 years and none of her coworkers knew that she even had a boyfriend. Just because a woman trusts you does not mean that she is trustworthy.

Had it done to me in a different but similar way, ex said oh a girl at college is sooo interested in me but I would NEVER betray you and anyway, she is sooooo unattractive. AmethystDreaming You are so right. What they do is try to feel you out by putting out the most smallest part of the situation to try and help you feel comfortable with something that they know is or will end up wrong. This way when you begin to speculate about the frequency or types of interactions with this person, they will always go back to "I told you about him/her they are just a friend, Why would I tell you about them if I was gonna cheat or be deceitful?" It's a manipulation tactic that narcissistic and sociopathic people use.

They are so f'ed up they want you to know when they are cheating. My ex wife introduced me to the guy that she ended up cheating with under the guise of, hey this an old friend from high school and we caught up on facebook. She then kept me abreast of every time he called her, emailed her, every compliment he gave her thinking that I was cool with it just because she told me about him up front. My only mistake was trying to act like everything was ok after being accused of being over jealous all the time.
Next thing I know she's having drinks with him while I'm out of town and my buddy runs right into them at a little off the grid bar. Bitch then tries to call me before my friend does. SMH Slimy ass ho!

And im like what do you mean they were naked? And she was like oh they were naked in underwear. Thats what i meant. And then she said that they had group sex in the bedroom and that she just went home before. She said that one of the guys asked her to join and she said that the friend said that she has a boyfriend and that he shouldnt force her to do anything. Just broke up with my gf on these grounds, thanx coach, keep up the fire. Wish I could copy and paste the messages I sent my ex for yas to see, that she was sending to other guys on her phone, to show how I handled it. Forwarded her a screen shot I took of some of her messages confirming my suspicion's (her drug problems too). Remember guys (and girls) its not paranoia or ease dropping if your instincts are correct, in my opinion. I asked her what she would do in this situation. Among other questions so she could see it from my POV.
Didn't have time to overthink or ask for too much advice other than some of coach Cory's advice. Truth is there is no perfect way to break up, it depends on the person and situation. Important part is proving to them your not a door mat. All her drug and alcohol and financial problems aside, I stuck with her as long as I did, because I value fidelity and honesty the most. When she broke those 2 things, a few times apparently, and I could finally prove it, I ended it in this manner. Looking her face to face and confronting her would leave her the advantage of "grounds for confrontation" that I wasn't going to abide her with. Some say face to face is most respectable, but she don't respect me regardless.
Many women want men to fix all their problems, while they party and do whatever they want, F*** that noise! Welcome to equal rights! Hope this helps provide insight on the subject.

2nd email. If she is a liar, it is only a matter of time. Some people value truth and honesty above everything else, others not so much. If this girl deceived you the chances are pretty good she'll do it again. The fact that you had fish through her lies to find she was banging her ex tells you everything. Note, you said you have never lied to her....that is the difference in your characters. It will likely show up again when a tempting opportunity arises or through difficult times.

  • @OmnipotenSe

With my most recent ex there was this one guy friend that I always had a bad feeling about, her other guy friends not so much. The guy is a beta male, overweight, mostly unattractive, but I just felt something was off with him every single time I saw him, like he had an ulterior motive or definitely wanted to be more than friends with her, no matter how much my ex gave me the "he's just a friend and I'm not attracted to him" speech. I made my ex very aware of how I felt about him and told her I didn't appreciate her wanting to see him by herself whether that meant lunch, or going to a bar, or going to shows and I didn't find those appropriate, she would whine she misses her "friend" and wants to spend time with him because she cares about him. I thought we had a very honest relationship because we always were open with each other about our concerns. When we broke up she said she "needed space, who knows what the future holds, let's talk in a few weeks" etc. I was being patient and understanding, then fast forward a few weeks after we broke up, guess who she's dating now? She literally told me that we can't talk anymore, she didn't even have the balls to tell me she was dating that guy, she was all like "it's none of your business why I'm making these choices"... I found out through a friend! I thought she was the most honest and trustworthy person I've ever been with, so I disregarded my own gut instincts and believed her from the beginning. My advice to you guys is if you have a bad feeling, don't second guess yourself!
It's bittersweet because that guy she's with now is a complete chode, doormat type, so I know the relationship isn't going to last because he is a weak man and that's probably going to ruin her friendship with him and most certainly lose respect for him. Thankfully, this experience led me to finding Corey and I know I stopped courting her and became complacent, but I also know now what her true colors are, and as a result I will never allow myself to be exclusive with her again. If she wants any of my time, it'll be to hangout, have fun, and hookup, and that's it! Corey made me aware of my own weaknesses, how I would stop pursuing my purpose once I started dating a woman and eventually become complacent and soon after that end up single again, after passing up so many opportunities to meet higher quality women in the interim. Never again!
    Thank you Coach

Hey guys. I read the book over 40+ times (so this is a case of thinking you know it all but then the universe says: Oh Yeah?) but I'd love to hear your thoughts about this that happened to me the other night. It really is all about respect. I was at a big social event with my girl (we're exclusive for 5 months) the other night. As we were walking along some random dude in line yells out her name and she immediately turns to him and hugs him and talks to him for a few minutes without introducing me. We finally move on and we run into this guy again an hour later. She eagerly talks to him again and acts as if I'm not even there. I read the book 40+ times so I clearly saw what was happening. He was trying to pick her up in front of me. She gave him her # and agreed to see him next week and acted as if nothing unusual happened the rest of the night. In their conversation it became clear they went out before. I didn't do anything rash as Corey says that we have no competition. I don't even blame the guy as she never introduced me as her boyfriend or said anything great about us. I have a feeling that if the exact opposite would happen (me running into my old HS flame at the same event and us exchanging #s, I wouldn't hear the end of it, truth be told I would stop it at "it was nice to run into you again have a great night" because I respect and adore my girl) I will raise this with her tonight to tell her this is unacceptable, and report back but any thoughts on this from you guys are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance! This is a great community of people solving issues.

When she came one hour late, I cancelled our reservation in this expensive Italian restaurant. Asked her kindly to wait me in the living room. Put those Chinese Oriental Kung Fu Pajama that was given to me as gift. I never forget her face :D She was in shock and she asked me where are we going, if its a surprise. I said 'we are going to your home, we only have time to sleep because its very late.' She was never late ever again. She was angry at first, but she got my point, she find it hillarious and she said I must be very brave and not afraid to lose her. We laughed about it after some time passed. When I don't like something I always challenge girls like this, they find it interesting. Because no men ever acts like that to them, they always tolerate everything. Thats why she will not respect you, and just like the coach says you will invite more of that behavior. If you want to gain her respect stand up for yourself, let her know what you don't like.

It takes to much effort and things to happen to cheat for it just to happen.

No, you cant, but if u stay with them, u need to watch them like a hawk, look into phone constantly use detectives, and camras and recording devices, if she or he knows they cant lie and get away with it, they will start telling the truth, because they have to.

Man, the email story you read at 13:30 I relate so much to, only my bf was the one being deceptive. He just broke up with his ex before dating me and apparently wasn't over his x cuz I later found he was still keeping in contact with her for the first year of our relationship behind my back and lying to me about it. I caught him and he finally fessed up that he still had feelings for her. Ouch. The only reason I stayed was because I was pregnant with his daughter and scared to be n my own and didn't know what to do. I tried to forgive him but it hurt me so much what he did and he never really worked hard to repair the trust. He never really ever made me feel special either...it really damaged my self esteem. It's been 3 years now and I've only got more depressed and he still lies and is a total asshole. I'm trying to figure out a plan to leave. Just don't know how yet and feeling stuck :-/

Been in the exact same spot. My ex lied to me about cheating for a year, I caught her with some really flaky crap in her phone. She admits to "having bad judgement". No bitch you cheated! She felt as long as I didn't catch her with her skirt hiked around her waist that I didn't have enough evidence. For a while that was true but enough circumstantial evidence came about to convict her twice when I started writing things down.(she was a hell of a gaslighter)
She was so empty thats she didn't feel like she did anything wrong and did close to nothing to repair the trust. And when she did her efforts lasted for about 2 weeks and then she was back. I finally realized that she would never change. The last thing she did was the last straw. People reach that conclusion at different times. Keep watching these videos your opportunity will come. Good luck!

Nope. In no way shape or form is that coffee meant to be platonic experience I can say that that is just covering basis. Was there a guy? yes. Did he invite her for coffee? Yes. Is she being honest? Yes. But what I am getting from this is that the neighbor did not give her a time as of when he would be stopping by. And by telling this to her boyfriend she is covering up any potential problems that may arise if the guy happens to stop by when her boyfriend is there. I may be wrong but that's what I get from listening to this.

On that last one regarding lateness...have you ever been out, alone, and had the woman your supposed to be meeting arrive TWO HOURS late, at the original meeting place (when you're in pub number 3 or 4 by that point, always telling her where you were when you moved venue), and had her only let you know she'd arrived literally 5 minutes before you left to get the last bus home...and never actually meet her???

what if your the devoted loyal woman but your man has drinks with a female customer or coworker and has cheated and lied in the past. i feel like the level of integrity that i have isn't completely there and he doesn't understand how that is disrespectful and hurtful. also he didn't come right out with this i had to ask him if he had drinks with her, but he did tell me she hit on him allot and offered her number to him even after he told her he is involved, but he wasn't straight forward with telling her no. he said he just kept saying oookay, says he through the number in the trash. btw he is a tattoo shop owner and his shop is by a bar. please help am i crazy.

To be fair. I use to go over a woman's house I really wanted to get with but I was told she was divorcing. I wouldn't get busy unless she actually left for good. I know I'm in a minority maybe even the only one o my kind. I use to just go right in for the poke. But now I want more. I basically play recon and observe. Just getting whatever I want isn't the point. I past that stage when I was 22.
But it's all about honor. I can't sell myself short just because it's what women expect of me. And mind you, she even spread a rumor I was gay hoping it would get me to be more aggressive. And once I realized that. I backed up further. I don't like being manipulated by some human trash.
I should have told her husband what she was doing. This awful woman had sex with his brother his father and his parole officer. Oh and his boss. She's the kind o woman that takes what she wants. Thinks being a winner means shooting fetenyl all day long.
I really feel bad for her husband. After hearing her stories which had him made as some villain of course it was obvious she was a lying piece of shit. I just felt if I told him this woman would probably manipulate him like they often do to every man. So I said nothing.
It's sad cause women tell each other bout men all time. But men don't listen to each other when it comes to women. And women can hurt you if you aren't as observant as I am.
