In regards to Fatz' fur, you gotta consider that these characters have been performing since at least 2004, and probably haven't received proper maintenance since they were installed. It's possibly that the fur has just sorta deteriorated since then. After all, they did use REAL SAND on the stage. Plus, your Fatz has been looked after by you for (practically, I'd imagine) it's whole life. Either way, great video as always, keep up the good work!!

That's because kids these days are used to seeing cute things like Mario, Kirby, yoshi, etc. Kids in the 1980s weren't used to cute things so they thought this was actually pretty cool. I do too. These things are harmless. They can't move. Unless turned on. But they can't walk off the stage. It's really cool if you think about it
