OMG that red hoya is so cool! Interesting that Silver Sword Philodendrons are rare in the US. I've seen big specimen (a foot and a half tall) here in Germany for 20EUR. I got a baby one for 4 EUR a few weeks back, and it's grown pretty quickly, but it also has slightly deformed new leaves. They're so cute though!!!
They're not rare in Australia either. I got mine on the Bunnings throw out tray! Usually They're $15 but I got mine for $5. They are if I recall endangered in the wild where they are from but considered common enough in the plant trade They're listed as non concerned. They're very beautiful while probably not the most showy of philodendrons compared to others people buy around here.
I love you, nick. You're so deadpan, its hilarious. Like, "if you're burning anywhere else, call a doctor" was gold cuz it was just so matter of fact and the delivery was just like any other thing you said :')
I‘ll definitely buy a variegated syngonium, I have so many other syngonium that do pretty well and give me propagations constantly, so I think that will be definitely worth it for me :)
My variegated soh loves my south facing upstairs bedroom window. There's a slight awning so it only gets a small amount of direct sun but I get multiple white hearts, the pink is fire and the strings live to grow. I snip, root in water for a few weeks in the same window and plant back in the pot. I purchased it from an independent site two years ago which is now defunct and she came, bare roots with about 8 strings for $40 shipped. I've gifted many cuttings so the plant is always regrowing itself but I find it super fun to gift cuttings to people who'll absolutely love them. Plant trade groups on facebook are also great. I love how you help people find the plants cheap.. isn't that the point? No shame in earning a living but the actual point of this is to be able to experience it together, sharing knowledge and spreading the message that we all need nature to thrive. I bought 3 fully developed stems if silver sword in Poland for 4 dollars. I asked a seller what kind of philodendron it is and she answered, idk, there is too many :) It is probably the fastest growing plant I posses.

I've got Melano, Majestic, Hastatum, PP, WP, Prince of Orange, six different epipremnums, six different syngoniums - all of which I still sometimes hear being called rare. The only truly rare plant I can say I have is Philodendron Pittieri, like to the point I actually have hard time finding info on it. Couple haworthias might also count.
I'm so obsessed with your channel, thank god I found your videos
Thank you 💚
I love variegated plants and would love a monstera albo, but wow are they not worth the price. I have a marble queen pothos named Miss Martha and she is my pride and joy, and was also 11 dollars. So like... don't buy expensive variegated plants just get a cheap one
Preach Peach_Peach 🙏🏻
Hello 👋🏻 - agreed about the melanochrysum. Also, love the dry humor
Haha thanks 💚
When I started watching this video, you were at 3.99k subs. Now, at the end of the video you have 4.03k subs.
YOUR GROWTH IS IMMENSE
I have a growth on my pituitary glan...
Oh wait you mean my channel.
I’m as confused as you 😭😛
@@phytosexual Its amazing!!! Your channel deserves all the love!
Also, LOL. even though I'm a simpleton and had to look up the functions of the pituitary gland, I'm glad I did because the joke was 10× funnier.
I love how your videos are hilarious as well as educational!
Thank you 💚
I see people resell plants for triple the price all the time. Makes me so mad lol but also glad I paid nursery prices for all my plants.
i got a reverted syngonium albo for $20 on etsy it came with 4 leaves and the second leaf it put out for me is variegated! so easy to take care of too
Syngonium are generally like that!
3:50 the shade on the meteorological wrong doings... "A FROST" 😂
omg thank you so much for these videos. i’m getting my plant community fix without the negativity ✨💗 you’re so funny, & i love your personality!!
Many plant vloggers just have too much hype and more money than sense. Enjoying the freshness. Jo.
Love your videos! You’re the perfect combination of entertaining and informative.
Thank you 💚
This is so sad;( In Sweden a silver sword is sold for 8 USD and Network 20 USD. If I could send it to u I would. But it woulnt go trough customs.
Thaaaats the issue 💚
I’m in Sweden and I bought one that is 40 cm tall for about $20
I bought 3 fully developed stems if silver sword in Poland for 4 dollars. I asked a seller what kind of philodendron it is and she answered, idk, there is too many :) It is probably the fastest growing plant I posses.
Yep, it's really cheap in Poland!
youtube algorithm blessed me with your channel thank you for all the effort you put into your videos ❤️
Glad you like them!
i would love to see top 10 styled videos from you. But not easy things like "top 10 hoyas" or something, but specific anatomical features like "top ten houseplants with peltate leaves" or something. Would be cool
Scindapsus ‘silver hero’ is another solid silver plant. It’s kinda pretty but super slow-growing, so I think I prefer the Philo hastatum. Love your videos!
Thank you!
