Who was Roy and who are his Boys? Like most of us, Roy Lowe worked in socks for his entire career which spanned over 50 years. His socks kept his feet comfortable and warm as he worked his way from yarn boy to managing director of Samuel Eden & Sons, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. His two sons, Tim and Martin, followed in his footsteps into the sock manufacturing trade, and eventually founding Roy Lowe & Sons Ltd (the parent company to Roy’s Boys) in 1996. It was named in Roy’s memory following his death in 1995. The factory originally ceased UK manufacturing in 2006, so Roy Lowe & Sons began to service their customers by importing their socks from overseas. The Lowe family were very passionate about recommencing manufacturing in the UK should the opportunity present itself - it did in 2013.

Alex can be cynical or negative, but at least he's open, clear and expresses himself in a way I appreciate. Dan is okay, but his infantile atitudes and way he expresses opinions really turn me off, he's still a good member of GB, but the East team is killing it so far.
