A few years ago I was helping my mom declutter and I made her get rid of a trench coat that she had had for FORTY YEARS. Longer than her marriage to my dad! And she hadn't worn it in 30 years.

I was literally thinking of 3 things while watching this video:
1) I would have loved to pick a few stuff from your closet for my own…which brought me to my next thought
2) if next time you do a decluttering project you do like an online garage sale for a good cause, it would probably be amazing!
3) I would soooooo like to be friends with you guys IRL 😂

I am the same, if I am a hoarder of anything, it's clothing. I have such a hard time getting rid of stuff. I still have clothing from highschool. And I'm constantly buying new clothes. I just have such a hard time getting rid of things I just bought or never worse because I don't like knowing I wasted money lol. And then other clothes are sentimental. Some clothing is so cute but too small and I keep telling myself I'll fit into it again later... yeah right.
But I recently put some things in a box "for later" and that helped. I figure if I forget about the stuff and don't open the box in the next 3 years I just need to get rid of it haha.
I cannot not imagine however keeping items that are the same or very similar to others. All my clothing items are very different styles and colors, so at least there's there.
I can't decide if the highlight was Kings rocking the singlet or Bowie saying "they're mine" 😂 Also I LOVED the coat w the tails 🔥
I love all the video types you guys put out, honestly, just so happy you share your time with us in any format! So keep doing what works for yall! I would hate for all the comments keep you from showing up at all. Do you!!! And come declutter for me, I hate itttttt lol

My mother is a hoarder as well as my sister. Staying at their house so I'm cleaning out EVERYTHING. 😂 It's so hard to teach 'em my ways. Seriously, who needs all of that stuff?! I donated 3 garbage bags of clothing and I feel great!

I have had the same size since my teens. I'm about to be 51. Yeah. I never got rid of one piece, just never bought many clothes year by year, just room for new shirts and new jeans and hoodies, as that's just about all I wear these days. I still have my school uniform. A blue corduroy pant from Levi's mostly. It's been washed so many times, and it's still *there* I mean that stuff just does not wear out!
Why do you need that uniform though?😮😂im same size I was as a teen and have jeans that still fit even after babies but I do declutter and only buy what I need
@@darnitthelma4247 I am afraid it is purely sentimental, well... not quite. They for sure do not make them like they used to. It is a tapered pant, in style now (everything comes back girlfriend), and so why? Why replace it with something that will cost me money when I have a great pair of pants here. I say "uniform", but we could wear whatever brand, style we wanted as long as it was dark blue (bottoms) and dark blue or white for a top. And they're Levi's. I'm not stupid enough to throw those out!
You are 78 steps ahead of me, I would first have to organize and hang my piles of clothing to even go thru it lol 😂😂😂😂
