high school days back in late 1960's with 55,56,57,and 58 chevy's. we had the diamond scopes. always liked the 41 willy's, Henry J, GTO's, Road Runner, Nova, Z28, super sport 396, mustang GT500, Corvettes, 40 fords, 32 fords, 34 fords, chopped Mercs, and on and on. Last times when America was better and we had fun.
Great build...love it..I have a Pacific Bell 150 utility sedan that delivered phone books in our neighborhood when I was 8 years old...LOL I thought about painting it back to olive drab and having Pac Bell logo airbrushed. Ended up black with blue flames..left the cargo area as it was from the factory with carpet replacing the rubber mat and backboard upholstered to match the front seat...assembled in Oakland CA. Vin tag still has the olive drab on it with color described as special order. Been in love with these tri fives my whole life and you certainly did an amazing job on yours!!! .

Pontiac Muncie 4 speed, 4.11 posi (street, 4..88 strip).Painted 69 Caddy Sapphire Mist blue. Best time in quarter ('69), 11.96 at 114+mph. Selling my 5-5 after all the time, energy and $ spent on it was a BIG mistake !
My dream car....if I had all kinds of $ I would just buy that car and drive it everywhere, so many people I know haven't even seen a gasser, I would expose it to more people, beautiful car!!

400s are getting near impossible to find. In my area i think the dirt track guys nab them up. A stock one with vortec heads swapped makes a bad ass low buck motor. That car sounds and looks great.
Great engines they are hard to find here in Missouri to and yes the circle track guys snatch up everyone they can find so I went big block 496 and have been very happy with it.

Dude, I just ran into this video. Although it was back in 18', the car looks and sounds freaking awesome bro !! Is that on open headers...not sure? Cuz of the echo the tree lined street adds to the sound. Don't matter, you have one killer 55.. hope I can build one half as perfect as yours. Don't think I can touch it..and that's a great thing. You knocked it straight into hell, with with ol silly ass devil dragging behind you.....thank for sharing from CC tx !!!
