You can say that again Mike. 'Back in the Day' [late 60's], I had a 55-210 I spent a few years on. Last motor was a 331ci Corvette motor [500+ hp] with a ton of aftermarket equipment, Pontiac Muncie 4 speed and a 4.11 posi rear (street, strip 4.88). Painted 69 Caddy Sapphire Mist blue. Best time in the quarter, 11.96 at 114+ mph. Sold the car in '70 which was a big mistake. And you are right the rush never goes away (and I am almost 8 years your senior). Do own a rare 71 Chevelle Malibu 400 ragtop I have owned over 50 years (402ciBB, 4 speed, 3.31 posi 12 bolt,
Mike some of us grow old without growing up I too drive a big block 210 but just changed to a tko 600 overdrive 410 gears. I'm 63 and still love the rush of banging gears and smoking tires .
I grew up building these in the 1970 s with my brother and friends in maryland. A 327 Muncie 4 speed with 456 olds rear great fun thanks for taking me on a ride again
That"s what I drove in High School! Brings back a lot of memories. Lions Drag Strip, Tweedy Blvd, Sunset Strip, Colorado Blvd, and Terminal Island after drags meet. Thanks for Posting!!!

Man that's an awesome video in a great ride! I'm working on a 55 4dr 210 wagon I've had for 37 years. First engine I ever built was in that car at 16. It's got a 283 with 3 on the tree. I do love that 4 speed of yours. If you ever have time, I'd love to hear about the specs of your car.
Thank you! Wagons are awesome! I really should do a video walk around of the car giving the specs but in short its a 55 210 2dr post with 11:1 327 and solid lifter cam, M21 4 speed with 4.88 posi in the stock rearend.
Thanks I love seeing what other people are doing to their 55s. I'd love to see a walk around. What size tires and wheels are you using. Stock clutch linkage? Standard or power steering? It sounds fantastic.

Probably a cam with 480-500 lift. I'd love to put this combo in a handyman but in a 210 dr will be fine too. Are there any pics of your car on here or instagram?

Not 100% sure, they were just laying in the car when i bought it so i made brackets and bolted them in. I think there from a corvair. Similar to the impala buckets without all the chrome
