Honestly, I don't know why this channel isn't taking off massively. All the homely charm of @RGinHD, the brass tacks evaluation savviness of @PhilsComputerLab and the enthusiasm of @LGR, plus hands down the best intro riff of any of them. Keep going!
Thank you for your encouraging words and your support. We will keep on making videos. We love making them for our viewers and we are always improving on our methods.
Nice, The only problem, you may run into I'm guessing is the lack of support of direct x support on the GTX 260s. They still have a bit of computer power in the old GTX 260s but it's sad that they cant play everything just because of a lack of API support. Sounds like a beast of a system for the day. Love those old Xeon CPUs. I have an I7 960 extreme edition sitting here with a single GTX 295 (2 cards in one). It's a beast for playing older games. Love these older machines. Thanks for leaving us a comment.
We use a screen capture card to record the video. So it's like using a phone but it's feeding the video though a video input on another PC to record the video. Giving us a better picture quality and accurate results for what the PC is performing.
Sorry I could not understand the question. Google translate did not work. The motherboard is a G41MT-S2P If you are having any problems with a PC crashing. Usually, I will clean the ram with an eraser or circuit board cleaner. It also can help to replace the thermal compound grease on the CPU. Try also using software like AIDA64, this will force the PC to work hard. This will help you to see if your problem is still happening. Thanks for watching, I'm sorry If I did not answer your question.
Muito obrgd por me responder eu ganhei uma placa dessa ai mas eu nao estou dano conta de estalar ela. Ela tem um plug pra alimentar ela faz um video mostrando a sua como ta estalado ae os cabos
@@OFFbitTech He said that he got one and he can not install it. It seems that he has troubles with the power connector(s) on the graphic card. Can you make a video showing how to install and connect this card? is his question. He speaks Portuguese from Brasil (or that is what he want to speak)
@@OFFbitTech It is a good idea. You know, one take an expansion card (network, USB, low-end video card) and jut plug it in the slot and use it. But with mid/high end video cards there are also power connectors that not always are provided by the power supply (at least most OEM ones do not have them); also there are cases when you have one 6-pin and your new graphic card need two of them. Where to find an extra one? It can be confusing, so it worth a video about this. And not always a second-hand graphic card came with all the cables and accessories.
I used one also from gigabyte but mine was the Black extreem oc edition it had a clock speed of 680 wich i oced it to 740 stable with my core 2 duo e6750 at 3.7ghz on air i stil remember playing the first metro 2033 at high setings 1080p around 30 to 75 fps i was blown away with the graphics and gameplay. Good times.
You should test more old games for this review. Like can it run Crysis? And no racing games? What about Need for Speed Underground 2? Or NFS Most Wanted? OR NFS Carbon? Rac Driver Grid? Grid 2? Dirt Rally? Colin McRae Dirt? STALKER? Fear 2? Battlefield Bad Company 2? Call of Duty Black Ops? OR CoD Modern Warfare 2?
We added a racing game to our latest video since we saw this comment : ) good idea. Great suggestions on trying some of the older games that where made for this setup for the day. It would be interesting to see just how they run these days with the video card and windows 10. Thanks for watching and your suggestions.

Something we might add to our list of systems to try out.

That really does sound like a great set-up with a decent overclock. Definitely sounds like a memorable system.

I thought the q6600 was 45nm, apparently not
Yep it was just before the 45nm upgrade on the silicone.
you can overclock the Q6600 at 3ghz in your sleep
Wow
