"What I try to do does not stem from reason. It comes from life itself. I use reason to build things up, so they don't fall to pieces. But the motives behind all the rest are aesthetic, ethic and, if you will, divine."
completely enthralled with this property. I've watched it about a hundred times over the last month. This entire property should be made a museum after his unfortunate passing.
This may be one of the best of the Nowness films I’ve watched. Extraordinary humanist, artist poetry in everything he does, says. And the filming, music - all of it superb.
This clip was like walking through my brain on any given day. Absolutely beauty. So many of the things that run through my mind are sculptural and abstract, that is why I made the first statement.
I am mexican, this is the first time i listen to catalan, im surprised it is not my language but i understand all that i listen. Big fan of the channel
Innovation is sometimes described as showing people what they can have rather than merely giving them what they want. Corberó lived this... breath taking on all fronts.
"Music comes from life itself" That's very Bornéo Taiwanese thing on how they created sounds from life, all the creation of the universe it's moving it's breathing even the wind have sounds that's the flute inspiration. Love it! it'is all such a great work. He seems to be very inspired by the Gauls architecture and bridge with all those arcade and then He took it and made his own creation
I was deeply moved by the artist and the surroundings. Absolutely sublime...........and he understands the importance of controlled light unbelievably well! Thanks for one of the most beautiful videos of the decade!!!!!!!
Beatuful episode! Thank you! Do you want to see and listen this amazing artist? His reasons, motives, feelings in his own words? Look for "A Fondo Xavier Corbero" An excellent interview!!
You can judge a man by his dogs and an owner of two beautiful Sharpei's truly special and incredibly stylish amazing breed of dogs and wonderful history

Just beautiful
The whole film is a piece of art. The colours, the words, the character, the house.
Proud to share a family bond with this genius, undervalued in our country.
this is the most beautiful video i've ever watched
it's the music also. I am in love with most of NOWNESS videos.
Undertstandable
seek poetry in everything that you do, beautiful lesson
haha sure there , though its not the most pleasant thing to image and romanticize :)

I can relate, I'm always drown back into it. I don't know if the house will be turned into a proper museum, but you can visit it
one of the best episode in Nowness, never seen this kind of art and aesthetic, this is really ethereal. 4:12 is magical 💖
During the firsts seconds of the video I thought I was watching Magritte's paintings. Stunning.
i think you mean escher? with the stairs and archways that lead to nowhere? but i know what you mean
@@jraaccounts nope I meant Magritte hahaha! Because of the colours ^^
What a magical space. So ethereal.

I like his dance at the end; he's right to celebrate!
It's interesting how there is almost no overhead lighting everywhere,
his passion for creating makes me cry. truly inspirational
Newness' In residence series are my favourite interior/home themed videos. So beautifully shot and meticulously edited. 👍👏
I am so obsessed with this house that I come back again, and again, and again...
maravilloso !!
This is the most beautiful place I have ever seen
A living Escher work of art @ 1:15. Architect and filmmaker share an exquisite, rarified sensibility.
i love this comment
I was looking for Ricardo Bofill and found Xavier . Also hypnotized architecture
This is AMAZING and the music so poetic 💜
I think I might cry, what a beautiful episode

This unbriddled imagination and depth of feelings is to be found among certain catalans, Dali and Gaudi had it as well as Jujol or Puig i Cadafalch.
Sublime reportage.
