Bro I am trying to do this in my truck, but I just don’t.. understand how is works so, if I move UP those 2 rings, it will LIFT the front of my truck? I was thinking that I need it to move those 2 rings down, to gain more lift.
Doubt it. If you could just adjust them up 3 inches, no our would big a 4 inch lift. They will just raise it to 7. Haha I assume oh need struts made for 6 inches of lift
Great Video! RC tech is nonexistent. I haven’t installed yet cuz of adjustment worries. I want the full 7” of lift to clear tires rubbing on frame or possibly bumper mount ? But although you didn’t address it sounds like they come adjusted at max height. Regardless I’m gonna install finally after your informative video. Really love to see guys like me that adapt and overcome. Thanks again👍
Great video! Dude thank you so much! Did a 7.5 on my 14 silverado and its 2in higher up front and it hasn't gone down at all since i did it in the fall. Lol
Nice set up with those shocks, I went with 2” bilstiens upfront and 33s, 6” lift was not a good option on my current set up cuz we have babies and my wife is short lol hopefully be as big as you in 5 more years 🤙🏻
LOL. I understand your pain. These are my first lifted ones for the same reason. Prior I had a leveled F150 on 33’s. Wife and children had a hard time getting in. Once it was totaled, went with a newer and lifted it.
That is a good question. I did not have one done but I will check. Because the installer thought that it would settle that much anyways, I figured it was expected. But now that you have mentioned it, I’m going to see if it needs done.
Great tutorial video Kenny. I’m about to add vertex coil overs to mine this spring. This video will help out tremendously.
I’m glad I could help.
Exactly what I needed to hear👍🏻 Great video!
Glad that I can help
I tried the bolt and wrench method you used and the grade 8 bolts bend immediately
Yea not sure what to tell ya
Did you notice drive improvement? Mine rides so rough…actually terrible. Thinking I should lower them. I have about 10 rings showing now. Great vid 👍
It does feel better. I feel like they were a little too high once I got them.
How did you get the blue sticker? Looking for a white vertex one for mine.

My best to wait to describe this is, the more thread you see above the ring, the higher the lift will be. The less thread, the lower.
Anything you do to protect these from the snow and salt?
I did use a DIY Ceramic coating kit and the clean off very well! Tires are coated with DuraDressing Tire coating. I plan on reapplying this year.
Pisses me off that you drop $1200 on these and rough country can’t throw in the $25 spanner wrench
Does it damage the coilover adjusting them without taking the tension off the springs to adjust them?
It has not done any major damage to mine. But do at your own risk!
I have a 4 inch lift on my truck.. I’m thinking about getting a 6 inch block in the back… could I adjust the front coil overs 3 inches ??

@@juicer911 oh okay thank you 🤝.. ima just replace the front strut with a 6inch one
Just gotta say, thanks brother! I got the Vertrex Coil overs and had this problem, love the coils but the front being raised up was driving me crazy.
I am glad that this video helped!!

THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT!
Thanks for the info brother
You bet
How many treads for a 1/2" higher?
No idea.
Thank you for this information my 18 f-150 has been setting 2 inches high since I got these and has been bothering me.
I am glad I could assist!
Quick question i just bought a set do u have to adjust them or do they just bolt up
They bolt write up. You adjust your ride settings and height after install.

@@juicer911 I will be there again my friend, once the kids can climb themselves lol
Amp power steps… ;)
Did it stop the binding of the CVs ?
Mine did not have any issues
So how many inches can you adjust ?
Do we need to get another alignment after this small of an adjustment?

@@juicer911 i want to adjust my height but just got an alignment lol
@@oscarc.564 most places have a warranty for so many miles after an alignment and u can take it back to get it redone for free
It yea. Mine has been a year though.
But getting it don’t anyways
