It's also sad to think that on this day people were at work, most adults couldn't watch, but they paid to have tv sets put in classrooms in different schools so kids could watch the launch. The amount of kids that watched the Challenger explode and the seven crewmates pass away makes me nauseous. It was supposed to be a big day, for the launch, now the day is known for the death of those poor people.

I still remember watching this in 4th grade and one of the teachers bursting into tears. It was very surreal. I was a sheltered and naive 9 yr old and I didn't fully grasp the gravity of the situation , but that moment will be forever etched in my mind. And to your earlier point, neither of my parents saw it live, so it was bit eerie being the only one in my immediate family who saw it in real time.

I was 8 yo at the time, only live mission I missed, normally mum got me up to watch the launches on a Friday morning or so (in Auckland, NZ TVNZ), but because she died I slept in. I felt the loss. My world at the time became an even sadder place for Astronauts were my heroes. I still remember their names by heart, saw the clips on the news that night. I've come to the understanding that it was an O ring that had frozen over night and went brittle, and 2 guys tried everything they could to stop it. 2 guys who designed the propulsion rockets. They knew that the cold night was too much for the o rings to stay bendable. But nobody listened to them since money was an issue. They decided to launch. Boom.

Its not that simple, because the rocket launch involves too many things, delaying would be close to impossible. Keep in mind that this delay isnt just a 2 hour delay, it could be a fee days, or even weeks. Contacting the higher ups a day before the launch for a delay is simply too late. In this situation, there is just no one to blame. That is not to say their deaths aren’t mourned.

    Challenger Spacelaunch with a bumblebee.
    ----------------------------------------------
Treat every living thing equal, without cruel intentions amongst all forms of life.
"Who's going to justify your cause Mr.Bee?"
"As I tied the bug to the bottle sky-rocket." Like astronauts going to the moon. I heard my Subconcious say "this is a backyard ghetto space launch mission". Then I heard a strange hi backdrop kid voice from amongst the sky of my thoughts "what are you doing?"
"Trying to define who God is and how God works, answering in my Subconcious."......
Could it be.......that nature communicates with humans a metaphorical way. When comparing the bumblebee to the "NASA-Challenger Space launch".
That I had to find out years later down the road of my adult life. That they knew the rocket was going to explode.
Even a bumblebee tied to a bottle rocket by a kid. Has favor. I was questioning "empty space" while standing in a room. With noone around but me and that bee.
"Who will justify your cause, Mr.Bumblebee?" Your going to be the 1st bumblebee to go to the moon.
Thinking to myself, knowing supposedly that noones knows or sees me.
Conscious; that's right it's only you and the bumblebee.
Subcons: you should let it go.
Cons.; I say, he goes to the moon....
    Understand....."yes".....
    Forgive me.
Dont do that. That seems to brings bad vibes amongst the human species. Their is a invisible Governor (Balancer/Karma). One who can synchronize dimensions beyond time and space. That brings Justice to the weak, feeble, and peaceful.
    See how it plays out.
Theirs other forms of power that can let a bumblebee take revenge.

The oxygen/hydrogen tank tank weighs 1.3 million pounds at launch, but only 12,000 pounds empty. The big white cloud is the H2O that formed in the blast, the 12,000 pounds of fragments are too small to be caught on camera. The remaining 200,000 pounds of shuttle can be seen dropping down in pieces leaving smoketrails or too small to be caught on camera at that distance.
