@@foilarmsandhog happened to me as well. They get hired by relatives in the system and they die on the post of old age. You can't get rid of bureaucrats even if they break the law repeatedly or they are retirement age.
There were other categories you could have used to compare these 2. For example difficulty getting clear responses, likelihood to lie to you because what are you going to do about it, etc

There would be a lot of temptation to abuse the power, however, and I would probably wind up getting fired for turning the Lighthouse Signal into the Bat-Signal.

Question: how is it that these 3 manage to come up with the cleverest skits in comedy, every week (making SNL look like kindergarten, for starters) but yet not have their own show on Netflix, HBO, Hulu, or whatever streaming actually has intelligence along with the entertainment?
I want them to have the resources and money of those things but also all the freedom and total creative and distributive control and control over content ownership as well.
Agree that these guys' sketches are superbly clever.
I think this is much better than a tv show. Total freedom and direct immediate contact with their audience... Who would want anything else?
These guys can make just 3 minutes. SNL has to fill an hr of screen time. Volume always dilutes.
Kind of like how fawlty towers is a total of 6 hours overall. That's it. Aftwards, one of the writers (Connie booth, who played Polly) retired to become a therapist.

@@Rainbowgrrl In the United States, tax season usually goes from January 1 to April 15th. They extended it into the summer of 2020 due to covid and into May 2021 also for covid, though. But otherwise it ends in April, which is basically when I leave my dad alone because he'll be so stressed. lol.

Seems like a bloody long time to be having to deal with taxes-I always want mine over n done with ASAP once the financial year is over! That’s mostly so I have my refund available to spend already though truthfully-it’s like a bonus windfall every year.
@@Rainbowgrrl no problem. Lol. In the US, we also don’t have return-free filing, so everyone has to figure out how much they owe themselves or pay an accountant to do it. I’ve heard that in the UK, the government just tells you how much you owe, but I’m not sure if that applies to Ireland or Australia or if there are limits.
